Well I don't actually use this system anymore but I ran a 1/4 scale servo gear to some pinion gear I had laying around. Im thinking it was about 5:1. I have the instruction on how to build this thing with the ratios but they are on my desktop comp and I wont have access to it for another few days. I am now using GWS sail winch servo that is full size (2.5x the weight of my old system) but is very smooth and gives 360 rotation right out of the box.
What is the ratio if you dont mind

What servo are you using on the 360 pan???

A standard mini servo like the hs 81 using a gear multiplier to increase rotation.
