Why would you leave your car with the roof down? Bird poop, rain, dirt, sun damage, theft, etc.

really amazing technology, surely it's over engeneered. But to be honest I was more amazed 575 Superamerica roof - it's so simple, but cool

@kinobla94 You are correct it was over engineered. However in its day this was the first Ferrari with an automatic roof. The model before it the 348 had a leaver to operate the roof. Also the F355 was the first road car to have F1 paddle shift capability.

Regarding the Superamerica, that roof has a flaw. When down the inside of the roof faces the sky when laid down across the boot. So if u leave your car and it rains, when u return & put the roof up, u are showered by the captured water.

@minatormyth To be honest i dont think you will be showered because opens/closes in less than 10 seconds any way both cars are classics after all they are Ferrari ;D
