This short video doesn't do it justice - with a decent soundcard it does have a realistic sound to it - but I do agree it will never replace a real guitarist.
It's ideal for me as I use a lot of synths in my music and is a lot easier to record than having to get a guitarist in with an amp especially as I record in a home based studio.

Distortion sound is horrible.
Sounds like an old bad freeware from 2000.
Don't even think getting a decent sound with it alone.
