@spacedreams2111 Space for one, IS EXPENSIVE, not many countries can afford to send payloads into space. Second the plant is to allow the private sector to take over, Which they are working on right now. Space was always about competition to begin with.
I am sure once someone else goes back to the moon, the U.S. would restart it's "man Space program". It is sad that our country no longer cares about anything or its once national prestige.
The United States was supposed to have men living on the moon 2020. But Obama's dumbass cancelled that project along with the rockets that were going to replace the space shuttle so now we have to use Russian rockets. Hopefully we will get an intelligent president next year and the US will be able t move foward with its technological leap in space.

Japan will be going to the moon in 2030 and if it wasn't for Obama the US would have been going there in 2018.
