I've heard the quality of the UMPs can be considered "an SMG on a budget" and that they are built for less budgeted police services around the world. Being that it is a closed bolt blowback style action, would you say that is the case, compared to something like an mp5, with a roller delayed blowback system?
@shazeebmw from what i can understand, if their gun laws are anything like CA, USA, then semi-auto versions are ok, seems like the magazine size is limited to 5 rounds from what i can see of all the videos.

@team322 probably about a few hundred feet, the .45 round is slow and heavy, so it doesn't go far, but its meant for close quarters anyway.
