My company has a fleet of Fords they have all been to the shop at least 3 times every 6 months. The new diesel engines are not as powerful as the former 7.3l so we are going to Dodge and the reputable cummins. As for Chevy and Toyota, we support American and the fact that Toyota isn't american but built here doesnt make it American. Chevy may be a decent truck but for those of us who need great trucks, decent just doesn't cut it

I love watching these and reading the comments. Everyone is complaining about how thier favorite truck was being tested by a morron, or how their truck just recently got a new engine or drivetrain, or interior. These tests are done by professionals for that specific year! In addition most trucks are good to go now adays. It's 2011! Each one of these trucks has thier strong points and weak points. Figure out what works for you and test drive a lot. Stop complaining and go drive.

2) Ram 1500... good engine and ride but questionable Chrysler reliability

3) GMC/Chevy 1500... outdated 5.3L V8 and cheap interior but quite reliable

4) Toyota Tundra... overall reliable truck (and most American made, ironically) but plagued by Toyota recalls and poor MPG

5) Nissan Titan... the perennial caboose of the pack w/ few standout qualities

Ive always been A ford fan and I will say this since 1992 ford has geared there truck way to high which is why they dont pull like they did in the past. go back to the big block V8 and gear the transmission and axle lower and if you fear its going to run at a high RPM at 65 then add an extra gear stop building these trucks for high way use and build them like a truck so why am i a ford fan because they out last GM and Chrysler and if you dont believe me then look it up on consumers report

Way to use the SR5 Tundra instead of the Limited? Also, all they did in this test was go from 0-60 and tow a trailer up a hill. That hardly proves anything. Try things like fuel economy, long term ownership costs, durability under heavy daily use, and since they're comparing the full size cabs, also take into account comfort, safety and amount of room in the back seats. This test was horrible.

Why compare trucks based on LUXURY? It should be based on ABILITY. Power, towing, hauling, possibly compartments and capacity (like glove boxes or door pockets), braking, acceleration, frame integrity. NOT bullshit like iPod docking, leather seats, stylish interiors, easy to use buttons, its a freaking truck for crying out loud, a workhorse that does work. You want luxury, buy a Cadillac, Lincoln, Chrysler, or Lexus.
