thanks so much for uploading this song..sometime back there was a program on news channel about ghazals in bollywood&here i got to listen to some wonderful ghazals..these have such a soothing effect..nowadays what we hear in the name of music is pitiable..people now dont know what real music is..And thanks to youtube we get to hear these melodies..there are no good music programs in the so called "music channels" now..

Hydrabadee, are you sure the song writer is shahryar and not Makhdoom Moheeuddin?

This is what i call gazal. any song must be about public, it's happiness/sorrow/fear or in general feeling. Most Ghazals are about a girl or saqui/paimaana. shame on those drunk/ediot shayars who can not write about the feeling of majority.

This one talks about feeling of entire city. Kudos to the shayar.

hi Hyderabadee, thanks for this beautful song. I think the composer is Jaidev not Jairaj. Jaidev is the one who composed music for Reshma aur Shera as well. the famous song sung by Lata Mangeshkar..Tu Chanda Main Chandni...is from Reshma and Shera.
