Bungie killed the Halo canon. All the time i spent on reading the novels and getting to know the universe was just garbarge for Bungie. I have all the Halo games, novels, and whatnot. And yet, most of these things hold no value anymore, for the canon has been corrupted. *sigh* Bungie should say something to the forum. We've been discussing the matter for months, but there is no response what so ever. We are disspleased and sad: Halo is dead.

@darkrathamantis How so? Reach didn't fall in a day so what? That part of FoR didn't make sense anyway, Red Team was still involved in the story e.g Tip of the Spear's "Beta Romeo Actual" assaulting the other spires. PoA landed after the battle for repairs and to pick up Cortana's fragment.

How did it ruin canon? It didn't, Bungie was very careful with the dates, if you 'bend' the story very little, FoR fits nicely with Reach. Halo is very much alive.

@darkrathamantis Also, 343 screwed up with HL because of their lack of experience, they're getting much better with writing 'proper' Halo Canon. There's a thing called a Halo Story Bible which contains all the base rules for story writing, Bungie didn't hand it over for Halo Legends, now that they left Halo, I think they left it with 343.
