  • It all had to do with greed

  • nice vocal performance, harmony wow...

to write more than 1 number 1 hit is amazing as well... some people just have it and work it... very nice allot of bands nowadays should check some of this old footage out for clues on how to peform... perfect@!

  • I had my eyes closed and I just sighed when don brewer started singing. Thank you for uploading this gem of a video!

  • bn mis respetos los de ggrand funk siempre he escuchado ese grupo y me gusta un monton!!!

  • Hey man...Thanks for post this obscure interview. It's great to see Mark play that acoustic/electric.

  • a friendship has been broken since then...it's a pity, seeing these old companions. Time will make the job, I hope

  • What happened between them though?

What little information I have is quite sketchy.

All I know is that it's mainly a conflict between Don and Mark, about how Mark had to refer to himself as "Formerly Of Grand Funk Railroad"?

  • These guys will NEVER become washed up

  • Thank you for this clip!! Enjoyed it!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've grown to think of Mark Farner's N'rG Band as THE Funk of Ages now...I'd miss THOSE GUYS if the original line-up took Mark away from them! Can we win here?

Yes! Because, wherever Mark goes...Grand Funk essence IS there. So yeah!!!

  • Day-yum! That was great! Sure wish they could re-kindle that friendship and get back in the studio and on the road. For more great FUNK videos, search 'PackedFunk' and PLEASE sign the petition he's got going to get GFRxR into the Hall of Fame. Suez...THANKS! You got me all FUNKED UP!

  • Yeah! PackedFunk ROCKS SO HARD!

  • Yes, I fully agree with PackedFunk. Thank you

Suez! I wish they were still together.

This Talk Town video was on Nashville's TNN TV, w/ host Ralph Emery, I believe...

The date was April 15 1998. The day before Farner and Brewer was on TNN's Crook & Chase program, also unplugged.

  • THANKS!!! It's nice to know these specifics! I have the Crook and Chase stuff too if anybody wants to see that.

    Stay in Funk!!!

  • Wow, now that was cool. That's the first time I've seen that rare acoustic performance of Faner/Brewer. Thank you so much Suez for this great video!! Farner/Brewer were so great together, they challenged each other I think. The BEST!!
