  • He loves that sweather

  • Amazing!!

  • I love watching and listening to great musicianship....how about the fiddler? Not bad huh :)...Oh and Albert...what a great voice.

  • my dick runneth over!!!!! i just bled a little from my asshole!!!!

  • Masterin' solo

  • There are good pickers!, there are some really good pickers! there are some awesome pickers! . . . .then there is ALBERT LEE ;-)

  • Albert Lee is awesome. Didn't realize he was English till I heard him speak at the intro to this video. Amazed that he was not "discovered" in the '60s when I grew up in London England and was crazy about the Stones, Beatles, Chuck Berry, and ga-zillion English groups who have now vanished from the music scene. So glad that Albert Lee has survived so well. He belongs to the top elite of R&R particularly the subset of the "English Invasion". Thanks for the post.

  • @etransform A funny thing-- All the "worlds best" guitar players will tell you that

Albert Lee is THE best. The great Eric Clapton even said so.

  • OMG he hav been wearing the same shirt since 1979 :O XD

    watch?v=GwRGrAa0MyQ&feature=related

  • One of the guitar God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A big hand for Peter Griffins dad on fiddle.

  • @PevsnerOG lol good shout :D

  • Just saw Albert Lee toinght (For FREE!) at the Culver City city Hall garden/open area..Summer concert series...Fantastic show...he was backed by the Carl Verheyen Band...and he was "smokin' " ^/^

  • Goose bumps and tears in my eyes, if you dont dig that then your not breathing..

  • I saw Albert in 1972 in London with Head, Hands, and Feet. wow!! It was a very strange band, but whenever he got a solo the hairs would stand up on the back of my neck. He has 2 or 3 excellent solo albums from back in the 80's worth buying if you can find them.

  • music man did a great job to catch that old master to give him a signature. otherwise he wolud play his fender signature right now.

  • I enjoy watching these guys play great guitar on YouTube. But I'm always dismayed at the terrible camera angles and shots. How oftten do we watch an incredible solo and the camera is on the guitarists face. His fingers are cookin' and the camera stays on his face. And it this video the camera is watching the back of his right hand from the end of this guitar. We need more camera peole who understand musicians, especial guitarists.

  • albert, humble andcool as a moose. greatness

  • albert, humble andcool as a moose. greatnenn

  • thanks...Albert....

  • Wish my guitar had all those notes on it.

  • @guitarsalert other guy is correct, this is Music Man Albert Lee model, Cost between $1500 to well over $2500 for limited Ball Family Reserve Model. If you want this sound you need to look for model configured with 3 single coil pups known as the SSS.

  • he brings life into his guitar. his voice by its side. truly one of the greatest

  • omg, this man is like 66/67, but he plays and sings like a 30 year old. great, great respect

  • Originally written and recorded by the Rock and Roll Trio (1956)..To hear the original guitarist on this ..Search out Paul Burlison on youtube go down to Rock and Roll Trio..Paul Burlison of the original trio playing with DJ Fontana at age 71..yr 2000

  • @dburlison1 Thanks for the info mate. I knew nothing about the origins of the song and it was great to see a clip which not only included the original guitarist but the ever young mr DJ Fontana as well.

    Tony

  • You always excell Albert keep on rockin saw you at the Eddie Cochran memorial at Chippenham you are a great player & singer how about a spot at the Americana

  • rockabilly..never seen anyone keeping the groove when playing so fast, no hesitation, errors, clean..great voice also for this music..

  • Albert Lee...

  • Good Video and yes Music is about emotion

Robin Ariel Ross St Claire Holgate

    Country Music Artist/Celebrity

  • amazing.

  • wats that guitar?

  • @guitarsalert Hello. The guitar is made by Music Man. Search Music Man Albert Lee signature guitar for more details.

    Tony

  • yeah it looks good and sounds fast

  • @guitarsalert it must play fast i wish had skills like that

  • There is also HSS which is humbucker at bridge position. The newer models have two Humbuckers known as HH, but this configuartion is not same sound for obvious reasons. SSS model seems to be most sought after and rarely see one for sale used for less than $1k.

  • Albert Lee is one of the best EVER!

  • fantastic

  • i thought he was an okie.

  • no, musicians are technicians, it takes more than just emotions to play like that

  • this guy never got the props thats clapton or so many other great guitarist. but he could hold his own with clap or anybody else.

  • @theZoftime...Yes by Ron ''Bumblefoot ''Thal

  • I read in a recent interview Albert lees fav guitar song is ''guitars still suck.''..fuck I heard it and had to agree

  • @nneevveerrmmoorree the bumblefoot song?!?!

  • for the first time in my life. i love country music (if this even is country music that is)

  • For a 66 year old, he can smoke a guitar! Damn.....I think he is good!

  • Albert Lee..The BEST!!!!!!! A wonderful person!!

  • @sleepytimegalz

I met him some 20 years ago. He was really affable.

  • @taariqtaariq When I was on myspace,he and his peeps were friends, and they are the sweetest bunch of people you would ever want to meet. Yes, I love A.L. Thx 4 the comment..Phyllis....

  • Check out v-T6Dp2UAZo

Twenty years before this, and he's wearing the same shirt...I hoped he washed it...LOL

  • Hey I think he just tore it up

  • @roadglid88twin like it

  • Man this guy is good, and he's not hiding behind a stack of Marshalls either. You can hear every note...

  • @careing57587

    you are dead right!!

  • @careing57587 I saw Albert humble a very drunk Eddie Van Halen at a NAMM show in Ca. back in the early nineties. They were putting on a demonstration together and Albert made Eddie sound silly. Not on purpose, mind you, Albert is way too classy a guy for that.

  • Fantástico Albert: inclusive eu o assisti no Concert for George com Clapton. Maravilhosos.

  • 3:38 can someone tell me what instrument that is?

  • @MegaYoshitsune its a guitar

  • @MegaYoshitsune

Contra-bass....if you mean the guy playing the big, standing instrument.

  • He's so good it's scary

  • Wicked guitarist, wicked guitar.

  • This is impossible. The guy is the best ever.

  • Just amazing

  • thanks man :D

  • sounds australian. is he?

  • Albert was born in Herefordshire England in1943.

  • @Mouldytone

He is from Hertfordshire, UK, so is Mick Taylor [ex stones], So am I !!!

Albert lee has spent many years in the USA the home of country based music.

  • @Mouldytone That Englishman is an American treasure!

  • @Guitarist1617 I thought he had a slight Aussie burr but he's English through and through!

  • @Guitarist1617 Please tell me how he sounds Australian? why do Americans always assume English people are Aussies, I'm from London, England and i've been asked that a few times.

  • @malcolmkew U.S Americans are generally ill educated and know little about anything outside the U.S

  • @Guitarist1617 he was but he feels better now

  • wow! that was a religious experience!

  • Simplesmente uma aula para muitos!

  • I´ll start a new religion where Albert is god

  • Alvin Lee, Woodstock, "Ten Years After" his "Goin Home" song was unbelievable. Cranked out young man just like the rest of us were listening to him. check it out if you can find it on you tube

  • @gibsoneer321 This is AlBERT Lee, not AlVIN Lee. Maybe you got too cranked out at Woodstock.

  • Albert Lee for President of United States of Music!!

  • The United Kingdom Of Music already Own Him >:D

  • How can people sit through that? I don't dance, but I'd be dancing my feet off. YEEHAA!!!

  • @Joggione , I know what you are sayin'... I'm sitting here groovin'...64 goin' on 16...LOL...

  • Now here's a thaught , Albert Lee and

    Dave Hartley.

  • COOOOOOOoooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!

  • Much people don´t know the grat musician Albert Lee.He´s the best country

    musician!And he´s English!

  • @dinguitas

What is a grat musician? I'm not familiar with that term.

  • awesome violin solo! i love this style of music

  • Brent Mason who?

  • LOL, stop giving this guy the thumbs down! He's just making a joke -- I thought it was pretty funny me'self. Honestly, we all know Brent Mason is ridiculously good. And comparing him to Lee is like comparing apples and oranges! So let's just ... revere all of them as gods. Problem solved!

  • I'm a guitarist, but this violin solo just freaked me out!

  • The bassist is literally SLAPPIN THE BASS MON :D:D

  • Slappada bass :)

  • I don't understand why people are talking about who is the best (in music). If I want to know who is the best I watch sports. Art is not about competition, it's about emotion. I rest my case.

  • @JBASSREBEL Too true....another thing ppl do is claim national ownership of a musician or even a whole musical style !

  • @JBASSREBEL amen. i totaly agreed with you. there are so many good musicians, and Albert Lee are born with a guitar lol

  • @JBASSREBEL You are so right! It is all a matter of taste, and usually those that sit in judgment are the least talented (like myself), we should simply sit back and enjoy the many varied talented musicians and artists..

  • @JBASSREBEL Spot on! Competitiveness has nothing to do with creativity and art.

  • @JBASSREBEL HEEELLLL YEAAH you got it :D First time I read a comment like this on youtube I think

  • Comment removed

  • bad motherfucker right here

  • Don't hold back, tell em how you really feal !

  • Fast, melodic, clean, and it swings. He's the orginator and most stolen from country guitarist of this style.

  • woh slap on a EUB that looks weird haha

  • Funny how so many great guitarists are also talented singers: E Clapton, G Benson, G Moore, A Lee, R Scaggs, etc.

  • Such a Rockabilly killer!!!!!!

  • Best guitarplayer ever.

  • can't beat chuck berry

  • You know you are wrong. And if you don't realize you're wrong then take my advice and go to a doctor.

  • we can start to throw arguments on eachothers right now, right here but I won't. cause we would both end up retarded in a while.

  • you can.

  • Unbelievable.

  • bass player is COOKIN !!!!!!

  • Unknown Hinson on Fiddle Boyz!!!

  • Al is a fucking monster

  • agree! nicely put lol

  • What ever happened to the super group (Biff Baby Allstars) with AL, Steve Morse and Steve Lukather. I remember they played this song on TV once a long time ago, just AL and Steve Morse. Amazing.

  • This guy has to be among the elite players

About the best in the pickin style. IMO

  • fantistic....

  • Ivey James B would surelly approve

  • I love Chet , and Burton...but swear to God....this guy brings me to tears with the way he can pick

  • i went to see him on tour he was amazing! GO ALBERT LEE!!

  • Brilliant

  • Better than ever. What a major talent. He shows no sign of slowing down or losing his magical touch. I sure do miss him hearing him playing a tele tough, but Albert could make any guitar sound great.

  • Tear it up is precisely what he does!

  • he's really great.

    thanks, for the video.
