This is so weird and annoying does anybody know how to get rid of the zoom in error on vegas 9. I try to cut clips and stuff but its so annoying..

For all people who have problems importing MT2S files. Here's the solution.

First off, I had problems with this too, including not being able to import and render MP4 files.

Downloading codecs or codec packs from the internet won't help at all.

The only working solution is re-installing Sony Vegas!! That way the program will have the original Sony codecs again and refreshed or repaired.

This way it will work!

@WhosFalqo Downloading it everytime or reinstalling it. It seems like some of the install files are maybe corrupted or you did something wrong installing.

When you start Vegas, what happens? It closes really fast or you get a error message. If you get a error message, click details and see what files cause the problem. Then look on the internet for the solution for the files. I'm pretty sure your problem is what more people have, but I'm not sure what the problem exactly is for you.

@FerdieFB23 Lets say that i open sony vegas and i import a clip that i recorded with my PVR, Then im just looking at it or something, anything i do it just says sony vegas not responding and i have to turn my computer of and then back on, And i just uninstall it and then i downloaded it again, But if i import a clip that i have rendered in another program it works!

@WhosFalqo So you can look at the clip when it's imported or it's just Sony Vegas not responding? Uninstall Sony Vegas and download again? Why don't you just install it again only? Like I said, some of the files in the installation could be wrong. Can't you see the error details?

It can't be Sony Vegas' fault completely though. Do you have a lot of plugins installed? Sometimes plugins I installed give problems, maybe try reinstalling it without any stuff.

When i open up my clips in after effects it shows that they are 29.97fps and not 59.94. Can someone help me?

@TheScopeBroke Change the settings in project properties. You need HD 720p 60p and NOT 720p 30p. 60p is 59.940 Fps, which is equal to Double NTSC frame rate.

hey guys can anyone help me here, i have a HD PVR gaming edition, and if i leave my pvr off for the night, it records for about 45 minutes fine in the morning when i turn it on, but anyways, the capture module in the software freezes every 4-5 minutes and i have to keep turning the PVR on and off, and it's getting really annoying, can anybody help me, all my cables are in properly ect, and i've reinstalled multiple times, but nothing seems to work.

When I put it in MP4 and put it through sony vegas. Itss Zoomed in.

WHen I put it in M2TS it fucking crashes and so does avchd.

Now to get my vids into sony vegas, I have to put it throught Windows Movie Maker!

recording in 13.5mpbs isn't useful if you're going to render out at say 6mpbs

@2k10nathan Thats a computer problem. HD PVR's rarely lag at all or its hard to even notice it.

not trying to be a troll or anything, but why does everybody use Call of duty in every tutorial??? Call of Duty isn't the only game we play, plus it has its own settings prior to Vegas Pro, so using Call of Duty settings may not look good to a Gears game or Final Fantasy 13(just an example)

When I watch my gameplay in QuickTime or Windows Media Player it's perfect, but when I import it into SV10 or AAE it's zoomed in and the quality is dreadful, I've followed your instructions to the letter but there is still something wrong with it. Also, my total media extreme has a grey background to it, not a blue one - perhaps a different version?

@ThePvBee Basicly is 100 megabytes per minute and 1 gigabyte per 10 minutes... If your scared to run out of space then delete your files after your done playing and you should be good. I have a pvr and thats what I do.
