@kiwiking254 The reason was -he doesn't even know earth existed, he was protecting the saiyan planet, and Freiza was sure that all saiyans were to be terminated except for raditz, vegeta, and nappa. Goku had a surprisingly low power level when he was born, so it was luck he was send away to take over a weak planet which happened to be earth.Then goku hit his head and forgot he was a saiyan, but any way this is your year long question answered!And yes i'm a nerd :P
