The whole thing is too staccato. It's supposed to be played with a harsh feeling. It's not supposed to sound like Mozart's style.

You are just genious! First of all THIS IS NOT SONG, but a movement or piece from cycle. Second, I think you see who composed this. There is also orchestral version by Maurice Ravel. But I`m glad you like this :D

I just wish the song could have been presented fully without cuts or anything. I'm not sure if it's because she made a mistake or there were technical problems, it's just that the cutting kind of repeated some parts of the song.

That's only because an orchestra can capture something that one single piano of ten fingers can't. Second, the orchestra version is written after the original piano version--might be some changes, I think.
