  • That is not preheating, its just checking for missing balls on BGA before placing, does the same for the larger fine pitch devises eg missing or bent legs. I ran these type of machines for years, actually looks like a panasonic model.

  • @RetroA1 What is this board used for and how much does it cost?

    Thanks.

  • @madvillan139

Board is dual core PowerPC board, a unique desktop board by CPU (Semi PA CPU previously used only in military etc,) + XMOS programmable CPU. It will be used to run Linux and AmigaOS 4.

You should try reading AmigaOne X1000 and AmigaOS 4 articles on Wikipedia.

In short, most powerful new Amiga.

As full desktop system with OS, it will be in range of 1 500 - 2 000 euros

  • @RetroA1

nonsense ... it hangs to the flux pot and then to the infrared preheater.

  • @Framiga57

Have you ever run one of these machines, I guess my 12 years experience means nothing.

  • @RetroA1 if you are still insisting about "balls integrity checking" then yes,

your 12 years experience means nothing.

  • @Framiga57

What machine is this, I've never seen a placement machine that adds flux which is already in the solder paste on the board or preheats components which is generally done in the first stages of reflow. You are telling me some red LED's are heating a part in less than a second.

  • Quiero una yá !!!
