I seriously doubt a "prophet" who had a woman stoned to death. And who carved out an Empire based on his religious lies, was some kind of ancient "libertarian".
@TheMedievalMan It wasn't he who carved an empire. It was his later followers (Late Ottomans) who became power-thirsty and invaded neighbors after the Prophet and his companions died.
And he did not stone the woman, the woman herself CHOSE to be stoned so that God would forgive her adultery and she would be permitted to enter heaven. Muhammed simply advised her to accept God's sentence and she became convinced through faith, not force or coercion.
