We were so young and everything was so alive... The scene was in full force and everyone was really feeling it, lots of creativity and good vibes... Things were still about the music... We got together with 8Bit and I told him to just take this track, listen to it and do WHATEVER the f***k it inspired you to do... The results... Awesome... Good times!
@rbmt3rd2007 Same here; I'd wager this was from the Sunday morning 3AM era, first two seasons I think? Those tapes, plus the Liquid Television tapes, are precious media.
yes yes, very precious media!! ah yes, i too with the Liquid TV tapes! thanks to a dvd/vhs recorder i had before it died, i was able to transfer these tapes to dvd.
yaaaay thank you so much 4 this!!! i try to find "brooklyn heights" album and the other one but god damn its hard. these guys were so fuckin awesome cuz they would do breaks and then 4/4 too!! pioneers of that. great stuff
I've had the mp3 of "Catch Da Monkey" forever, and always liked that song. So I'm checking them out again... This is pretty good shit. It's not breaks, not trance, not house, not DnB... This is "rave" music. Brings back memories. Too bad that scene is nothing but punks, losers, thugs, and undercover cops now. I still love the music, but you can't have a good time at a party these days.
