@HATINTHEKAT white grub with some yum scent, i use tubes a lot though also, white and green seem to work the best, orange, red and pink are good colours also.
Lots of crappies on scugog, fish anywhere around the lake and you will get them, but there usually seems to be a lot of them around port perry. any spot about 3-6 feet deep with some weeds should have crappies. they bite best in morning and evening
lol ya that what i use sometimes, but with a trolling motor on the back, i live right near the river so i use it to get up to the bullrush and duck blinds
o ic, that what me and my friend run, 14 aluminum all decked out with a brand new 25hp merc. it goes pretty good, its perfect for gettin back in these shallow water bays
no. i probably wont be for a while, all i got is a little 14 foot aluminum boat with a 15 horse johnson on it, not really adeqate. i will probly be doing ice tournaments on simcoe this winter though.
oh big time, especially at the boat launch at cottage road, and at port perry. start catching and eatin them! they can take over native fish populations really fast.
i cant wait to pull these things through the ice.!
watcha using for them? didnt get to see it, is it a grub or a tube?

Big time. I know of some uber cool bucketmouth and smallie spots on scugog.
CanadianRednecks95 2 years ago
How are you catching them? I know what kind of rod and line but what kind of lute
CodytheTrapper 2 years ago
use small jigs, orange works the best, and use a small plastic grub or marabou, white works the best
you can also catch them using live minnows.
CanadianRednecks95 2 years ago
Oh man now i want to fish there even more!!!!!!!!!
