Malcolm and Nancy just ruined the pistols, Sid was just fucked up with the amount of herion in him and Rotton was sick of it and he left and Cook and Jones just got screwed by Malcolm in the end. Those two mananged to competly destory one of the greatest bands of all time.

@mharrin5507 I totally agree. Rotten had a no care attitude anyway, but in the end, he really didn't give a shit. It literally had become No Fun. Every 20-30 years all genres of music must go through a rebirth of sorts. Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Elvis, Beatles, Sex Pistols, Nirvana, and the list goes on. Sometimes the process is painful, but often times, music gets stale and needs to be placed on its ass. The Sex Pistols came out in time when music was getting too sterile and processed.

Whoever the drummer is, he's about 2000 times better at playing than the rest of the band. Lydon's lack of bullshit is always refreshing to witness. Contrast this to say, Bono's sanctimonious stage pronouncements and it's clear who's the corporate whore and who ain't.
