What's so special about this movie? Left it after about one hour. Should this be ART? If you are interested in Joy Division - there is plenty of better footage! The so called "independent industry" is now what the majors used to be - boring...
dont be ridiculous, this is based on the book his WIFE writ. so if you could hear it from anyone it would be the film "control", or the book "touching from a distance". or if you're lucky enough Debbie Curtis herself. stop being a jerk off and keep your un-nessaccary opinions to yourself.
Sam Riley is a dead ringer for Ian. Haunting. I wept at the end. Find and see it. Not enough of Hookey, Bernard and Steve. The actors play the songs. very, very compelling
Nearly 30 years on , Joy Division are still reaching and connecting ... really looking forward to seeing Control. Anyone in Midlands area ... check out Transmission , a JD tribute band in Nottingham next month.
I just saw a feature on Channel 4 news in the UK. He looks and sounds so like Ian. I got to see it, I'd love to see it in Ian's home town Macclesfield but I don't think they have a cinema!
i have no idea what he's saying...but thanks so much for the footage. on the 18th, it will be 27 years since Ian died. so i think the Control premiere at Cannes was great timing! RIP Ian

i'd say that was a valid point if i could tell what you wrote, since your use of grammar and punctuation is appalling.
