Mystery Science Theater 3000. "Torgo" is an in-joke, a deliberate one, apparently, if the Origin people were to be believed. MST3K was a cult TV show that ran for ten frickin' years. It centered on riffing on and heckling the worst movies ever made. And the single most infamous episode featured a spectacularly terrible movie called "Manos, the Hands of Fate." The film featured a character named Torgo who was... Uh... Memorable. Yeah. Look it up on YouTube, there's endless clips.
