WHEN PRYING any panel, use a flathead screw driver wrapped with a towel/shop rag. Don't do what numbnuts in the video did. You will get nasty edges. Other wise get one of the prying tools from like Crutchfeild or your local audio store.

I have a question, I have 2001 nissan maxima with BOSE stereo. I want to put subs in the trunk. Is there anyway I can do that without taking out BOSE stereo. I just want extra BASS.

Can I just buy SOny xplods and hook the wires with the current sub

yes, but I think BOSE uses 8 ohms instead of the standard 4 ohms that reg. speakers usually use. You can use something called a RF modulator, I used one in my sister in laws car, the only draw back to these, is that you have to tune it from the modulator, with the radio it's ok, but it's to using it's full output and your stuck going to where you placed the modulator. In all honesty, head units are a dime a dozen n don't cost much anymore, there are installation kits that make everything easy.

@hshm19 u might need to bypass the factory amp for the sub then put an amplifier powerful enough to run both subs or hope that u can run from the current sub to an amp
