  • what is that last arpeggio from it souds so familiar.

  • Comment removed

  • I like a lot of your vids but this is very sloppy I'm afraid. Playing those too fast too soon.

  • i hate u squier you just ruined a perfectly good seet of arpeggios.......

  • @diegomanx321 Guitar snob much, its not the guitar its the man that matters.

  • ok bravo .......boy

  • man from 0:27 to 0:32 he is just peering into my soul

  • Wish I could do that. Still can't get the hang of it

  • continua ad esercitarti che e' meglio!

  • and you need 25 years to learn was yngwie show us at this time ?

    can you write your name?

  • was that last run from extreme?

  • Do you play death metal??!

  • @wingeddemon5807 i'm sure he does. the sweater glasses and comb over gave it away lol

  • @adamw7641 lol

  • how to play sweap picking with this

    clean sound??????

  • @ZuckNotSuck1 being able to play guitar well helps

  • So you're incorporating string skipping AND sweep picking into the same sort of technique? That's impressive man, it sounds great as well.

  • malmsteen music is easy, anyone can play it they just dont know, ciche

but it is the better player music to learn at first, sort of like level 6 in mel bays, u dont know me man but i met malmsteen way back in steeler, he knows that his music is minima classical, his sister is aso a classical musician they all know this in the family its rock and your selling a character

  • if i saw u on the streets, i swear i wouldnt know u were a god at guitar!

  • Thank you so much for you videos. It's amazing to me that anyone would post any kind of mean comment. You are very good, and I love your videos. Please keep them coming!!! I think that any good guitarist appreciates and learns from other players no matter what their level may be.

  • you are a god

  • i love the licks!...tabs man?..

  • hei you are very good nice guitar i love arpeggios, too awsome runs !!

i am sure you know yngwie because the first arpeggios was the same i think

    keep rockin man

  • i agree with counternr67, please tab that it sounds awesome!!!

  • wow, could you tab that lick at 00.46 ? sounds awesome

  • Old farts invented all the cool techniques.

Les Paul was sweeping 50 years ago.

Tal Farlow was tapping 40-50 years ago.

I won't even try to describe what Jerry Reed could do back in the 60's and 70's.

I hope you get really good at diminished arpeggios.

Great way to scare the hell out of Mom and Dad.

They'll think you worship the devil or something...haha...

  • man im 16 and i can sweep a bit but ive never seen a guy that looks as old as you shred it up like the youngins man!! i tip my pik and my hat to you sir, if you could. post some stuff about dimished arpeggios there my favortiee

  • lol this guy should join the red shore

  • holy shit!"!!!

    motherfucker !

  • Tigher picker than sweeper... Never the less, cool versatile player.

  • His tone needs a bit more gain and sustain, sounds a bit weak.

  • @Curoch now, imagine if he had a super monster pedal, how would it sound?

  • @Curoch His tone needs so much more than that

  • @Curoch i blame that on the squire

  • Wow, great job!

  • Paul Gilbert at the end anyone? :)

  • Yeah, but I can't remember what song it is taken from ...

  • Fantastic.

  • what a legend

  • ur legend cant even tune his guitar

  • I do not understand why some people react so narrow. I like these lessons, find it very helpful.I don't look at sweater, bald or spectacles,i look guitar playing and it is quite good.If i need to search things like that i will go to search Michael Romeo's belly and neck;-)))))))), but i won't.Need nice guitar playing and this guy rocks, whatever someone can say.

  • ure right man!! people like robert take ou time to make lessons for free and all some dunderheads have to say is "ure tone is not good" "ure bald" whtever...this is so funny man..people just talk shit about evrything..anyway..this guy's got more experience than evryone commenting crap here looking at the way he plays :).

    @ robert

great job mate!! sweet playing!! and great tone for a demo!! ppl do dmos with tons of od/dist and completely turn it into a showoff vid lol...keep it coming :)

  • FUCK an old gramma is better than me at guitar..i think i gota practice so much more..

  • I like this guy mostly because he's balding, bespectacled, and wearing a sweater.

  • haha

  • geddy lee is the man

  • I think he looks more like Kip from Napoleon Dynamite

  • Stop! Your bruising my neck meat!

  • hahaha :)

  • LOL

  • haha yes! but still a great player!

  • What effect you use? or amplifiers

  • q efecto usas?? o q amplis

  • haha that's not fast

    its sweeping nonetheless tho :/

  • hahah didnt know mr rogers could shred like that!

  • hahahaha

  • He... doesn't really look like Mr.Rogers the much to me.

By the way, nice playing Mr.Rotren.

  • @jrc17 xD mr rogers

  • Once upon a time, a certified public accountant was struck by lightening and miraculously developed the ability to shred arpeggios on a Tele overnight...THE END!

  • Brilliant,that's funny dude.

  • u look like hitler's right hand man. sorry, just an honest opinion. and yeah, great guitar playing too ..

  • wasnt string skipping made so you could do arpeggios quickly without sweeping?

  • hes respectable. he needs more feel to his arpeggios they are clean but they just....theres something missing.

  • i think he looks like the guy off school of rock whos jack blacks friend who he crashes with. respectable yet awesome guitarist

  • lol ned schneebly

  • Gus G rocks lol

  • wow...just imagine if he wasnt playing on a squire!!

  • @TheJibs Nothing wrong with a Squier... especially with upgrades.

  • i never thought sweeping on a squier tele would actually sound good

  • Excelent!!!

  • nice guitar good playing keep it up nothing wrong with that squier strat at all

  • turn off the goddamn delays and echo effects and lets hear it dry.

  • Fender squier lol. That's what I would be saying if I was a pretentious, materialised, spoiled, ignorant and arrogant dick who just cares about the guitar being played, but not the music. You have such perfect, legato sweep picking of arpeggios that these tight up bastards having ago at your guitar would kill for. I bet the swines couldn't sweep pick a blues scale. Keep it up :-)

  • Poeple who critic Squier probably never play one :P

seriously,Squier have the fender quality, and Squier was a brand of violin before and these ones were VERY expensives and quality instruments!

  • this is helpful to all who are learning to sweep. Thanks for posting, and scrap the critics. Jam on !!

  • Thanks for the comments everyone. I got the Squier because it was cheap and sounded great. It also feel really great to play. With better pickups, it's a fine guitar.

Sweep picking practice? Just start somewhat slow and be accurate, work up the speed over time. Accuracy is everything in order to make it sound good.

  • @rotren do you play any metal?

  • you guyy wonder why hes playing a squire, well name brands arent everything you know...i personally dislike squires but thats just me, but obviously it is working for this guy, awesome playing by the way, i just started learning to sweep today...any tips???????

  • u can rip man!

  • not bad, i just wanna know why hes playin a squier.

  • the guitar is an instrument, not a goddamn status symbol.

  • who the fuck says this is sloppy. okay so maybe he shouldve not been so original but its still on key. send me a video of you playin the same thing even better and then ill be on your side dumbass

  • wtf squire???

  • lame, sloppy, and boring to top it off.. Try necrophagist

  • lol amazing in my opinion. Awesome and exact arpeggios. I suggest you pick up a guitar before you rate guitarists. Ur just mad cuz german metal sux... ¬.¬

  • yo dude I just checked out that band you suggested and man the sucked ass dude scremo death metal bands suck wtf is wrong with you. your like an angry emo lol.

  • good stretch on the lower sweeps

  • If you dont already listen to symphony x you should, you would probably like that band.

  • Playing the same

  • SLOPPY

  • Nice sweeping! I couldn't help but notice that your guitar looks like a Squire. If so, you are too good to be playing such a low quality instrument, and should probably upgrade bro. Very nice fretwork.

  • so thats how they play it

  • I literally drooled for a second

  • its ok. better then SOME crappy vids ive watched

  • That's pretty sloppy really. Listen to Dying Fetus.

  • Impressive. I don't play the guitar (just the piano) but it fascinates me. I'll pick it up someday, maybe.

  • good precision, but not too impressive... mix it up a bit

  • You look like my English teacher from last year. Also you kick ass at playing, everything is so accurate, unlike all these stupid teenage shredders who play sloppily and can't hit the individual notes cuz they do it to fast or have crappy timing and accuracy with everything.

  • Some of it sounds a bit like Symphony X. Awesome work man.

  • meh, sweet guitar you got there brother.

  • What is the part what he plays the last ?!

  • What is the last part hes playing, i know it..

And yeah i can play better than this dude, but its still fairly okay.

  • wow radiczor i saw ur guitar play videos u cannot play as well as this guy.

  • Lal, those are OOLD.

    Lemme upload some new ones.

  • Hey man. Very ace guitar playing there.

And, the only thing I have to say to the butt lords whom would talk negatively of your playing is that I would like to see them do better.

Sweep arpeggios are not an easy technique to get down, and any who can do such rates much respect in my book.

Very good stuff! I should like to see more of your stuff sometime. ^_^

  • This guy can outplay all you wankers that bad mouth him...with one hand tied behind his back. Sweeping on a Squier Tele is BADASS!

  • Hehe from your other videos I didn't figure you are a Joe Satriani shred kinda guy. Good sweeping nonetheless.

  • who the hell do u people think u are insulting this guy? he totally knows what he's doing and his playing is very solid if u guys can play better like this then u can say shit anyway great playing man

  • Nice clean sweeps, fuck off to the people bashing him. He is not a God, but nonetheless at least above average. Not to mention hes sweeping on a tele lol.

  • awesome video..one day i'll play as good as u i hope...don't care with stupid comments...most of them jealous i think..if u want pass by my videos...they are nothing specil but they are made with love^^..keep posting with that quality=)

  • Okay hes not great but im sure half the people that commented negatively arent as good as him so let him be

  • solid man

  • NICE vid man

    could u post me the

    tabs for this

    it fucking rules

  • whoa...a squier tele??

    good playing

  • Man, people like to take a stab at me it seems! Maybe I should take this stuff off then so I don't bother you guys. I am sorry to offend anyone with my crappy playing!

  • u wouldnt do that...u dont have the guts!!!

  • CRAP

  • haha you suck

  • u probably wouldn't b saying that if he had long hair and was in a metal band

  • i guess you are right!

  • crappy sweep technique and timming

  • interesting choice of guitar to teach sweeping with but ok

  • Muy bueno.

  • pretty good

  • use an metronome to do the sweeps at that speed.

  • thx man you helped me to learn sweep :D

  • kinda silly that you looked at the camera.

    really dosent look good.

    nice playing btw!

  • i loved the part in the middle and last. I love melodic play... and you did it quite well, i'm not gonna complain! Keep goin :)

  • Hey great job! Thanks for sharing!

  • Cool, nice walking through the modes during the string skipping

  • Wow. Awesome sweeping. Very fluid.

  • Nice diminished runs :)

  • really good man good techniques as well how long you been plying?

  • in fact so difficult :P

  • not so difficult

  • you dont play that clean honestly:) but its pretty cool what you do, see my video hope you like it

  • well this is not his thing really. but he's pretty good this guy is a blues player! can u play blues? or just sheredd? LOL!

  • good playing but that guitar is crap mate, get sumfin that will do u justice instead of every1 commentin on ya naff axe

  • Heheh awesome diminished lick ! You sure did watch those goofy Paul Gilbert videos back in the day ;) heheh keep tha good work

  • Nice! you're just showing those guys how versatile you are. this is really nothing compare to playing the blues.. and you know it. great playing

  • Very nice sweeping :P

  • Dad I didn't know you were posting videos too, hehe, just kidding good playing.

  • Top fucking notch! never thought a squire could sound so nice!

  • freakin amazing

  • i agree. you deserve to get yourself a better guitar.

  • you are so damn good ,but your guitar sucks

  • u know, squiers are pretty good, and maybe he doesn't have the money to buy a gibson or something like that, cos they cost like hell...

  • dude add some distortion to that and speed it up and play with a band man! id love to see that kind of vid

  • a little sloppy but nice work

  • dont listen to them, they're just jealous cause they still cant sweep, great job

  • Hey forget the paul guy !! You sound very good...

  • ...Well, i dont think you "suck"...but, hey we've heard better.

    Anyways, nice Bm Arps. ^_^

  • the first lick/scale; i think i just saw it on a video of laiho..??

  • Thanks Paul, how nice of you to say so.
