@LordSolaris Because for a long time, game makers could sell games only on better graphics. Now that we're approaching photo-realism, graphics will not be getting (noticeably to most people) a lot better, so they will have to go back to better writing and plots in order to distinguish their games. The more immediate reason for the decline in adventure games was the lack of replayability and the fact that most of the public didn't want to have thinking games when you could have shoot-em-ups.
@ziochicho I can't but agree, though I've always had a soft spot for the piece played in Spielburg. I remember venturing there when I first played the game back in 1991 or so. Delightful.
In all my years of music and gaming few things compare to the raw emotion and portrayable sense of morality and goodness in the world that is captured in this piece... truly captivating and to those that find it's majesty may you forever retain its sense of peace.
Someone finally uploaded it! Erana's Garden is one of my favorite game compositions, and it's so nice to be able to listen to it in it's original form (and not through my soundcard's midi).
Prolly one of the best adventure games of all time. Shame about all the bugs.

@michaeljhamlin I read this in John Rhys-Davies' voice. And I haven't heard it in so long. I need to dig this out and play it again.

Rhys-Davies really made one feel what was happening, didn't he. Best narrator ever.
Though I first fell in love with the game while playing the version without the voice acting.

Why don't they make games like this anymore? The storyline was so gripping.

That guitar cutting through is so monumental is such a sweet melody! The best version of Erana's Peace I think.

I'm more familiar with the ending version (after defeating Ad Avis, but before freeing Erana).

@michaeljhamlin I wonder if it tastes anything like strawberry flavored sparkling water.

Favorite Quest for Glory song by far.
I actually fretted this song for Frets on Fire.
The most beautiful peice of music in the game. My favorite game, too!

This game is so epic. One of the best games ever made in my opinion. I have beaten it countless times and it never gets old

I love this song... It's so relaxing- and even the midi version sounded beautiful.

I loved this game! I loved this song. Visiting that garden after dark saved my character's life many times over!
