  • No one knows any thing about this dont be supprised your from California. Just because it sounds old doesnt mean its Irish or Scottish or African or German or English exc..... Jigs were generally wrote in 6/8 time and some reels were but rule of thumb is American Old time fiddle music is in 4/4 time with no accent on the up bow such as Irish and Scottish music. The culture of old time music has its dirivitives and influence from Irish and Scottish and French and German and blah blah blah!
