My remark can be translated like this: "The most beautiful three engine airplane in the world".

It refers to the fact, that the turbo compound engines of the S-Conny wheren't that reliable.

@Nomasain as it has been said before: the nickname was: best triple-engine plane in transatlantic flights. it was more than often that one of the overheated engines simply burst out in flames on long flights. the super-conny flew safely on three engines and even on two. swiss writer max frisch will keep her a loving memory in his novel "homo faber" which begins with an emergency landing in a mexican desert. that incident sets the life of the hero off its carefully planned path- read it!!

well, he's right about i, The real superconstellation had a more pointy nose.

well, actually, the plane that this model is based off has that shape/size of nose. Some of those planes did have pointier noses but some did'nt. look up pics of more than just ONE of these planes.
