  • Does it eat all kinds of 22 ammo or does it need high quality stuff like cci minimags?

  • Mine works very well with a wide variety of ammo, including the bulk Federal from Wal mart. I know of no semi-auto 22 that works perfectly with every brand.

    Jeff

  • @Gunblastdotcom --- I bought some 'cheap bulk .22 ammo' once - with real-soft lead bullets. After two shots the 'barrel would lead up' and the accuracy was gone. (I ended up with a musket.)

The cheap ammo did make me appreciate the Fortitude of the old time Patriots.-- "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!" When people are coming towards you with fixed bayonets - you want to shoot accurately when they're 'little-dots' on the horizon.

  • Jeff, Your description link has a period at the end which won't take people directly to the article.

  • excuse my english, due to the country I live in, but does the rifling of the gun (if rifling means the part that slides due to the recoil of the bullet gases to reload a bullet in the chamber) cut your hand, or is likely to?

    thnx

  • No. With a normal hold on the weapon, you will have no problem. Jeff

  • Would I be right to say that the barrel is now a fixed design in this conversion?

  • It appears that the slide is locking back after last round? I thought most of these conversions did not lock the slide back.

This would be a nice feature.

  • This one does.

  • The TacSol is the only conversion with a steel slide. Because its steel, they can engage the standard 1911 slide lock. Most conversions have an aluminum slide. If the steel slide lock engaged the aluminum slide it would eventually round out the notch.

  • you guys have the best reviews. making you guys my honorary FIRST people i subscribe too.

  • Thanks! We do appreciate that.

  • Because we paid the Federal tax and got the FBI background check, and our state (Tennessee) does not prohibit them.

  • same here in oregon!!!

  • How come your allowed to have a suppresor?

  • @ugcsred2011

In America you simply have to live in one of the 38 out of 50 states that allow them. O, and you have to pay $200 and do some federal paperwork. Right to bear arms my friggin ass.
