  • I think it is dog rose also. Plantain is great for infectious wounds. I used it on a plantain poultice on an abscessed tooth and healed it in 5 days. Dog rose, the hips a great tasting and lots of vitamin C. The Clover, used in a tea, is a good blood purifier.

  • Common name for the last one is dog rose?

  • Spearmint

    Arrowhead

    broad leaf plantain

    Cattails

    Clover

    Rasberry

You got me on the last one.

  • Not really, I just know what they look like. I guess cattails and arrowheads have edible tubers. Raspberries obviously have berries. Plantain...leaves? I wouldn't think they'd be very good, considering the little fibers in the leaves. Like celery. Spearmint for tea. I remember when I was little, other kids used to suck on the ends of purple clover. I dunno about the rose though...tea also?

  • Excellent Teaching video. To make it better first show the herbs they must identify, then show them again and given them the names, habitat and general uses you know, like food, medicine and so forth. Just a suggestion...But good video man! Keep it up!

  • First: spearmint?

    Second: Sagittaria?

Third: plantain? I didn't know these were edible.

    Fourth: Definitely Typha.

    Fifth: purple clover

    Sixth: raspberry

Seventh: Wild rose--this vid shows the flowers...I thought the hips were edible

That was fun! Plant geeks are awesome.

  • 100%no can u give me a medicinal use for each one
