  • The Yampa Mail train is for the most part custom built by a member, not a set you can just buy. The locomotives in this video are All Nation F Units kits that were built and painted with "actual REAL" Rio Grande paint from the shops in Denver back in 1978!! The baggage car is a brass model from PSC, the dome coach is a Pecos River Brass car, and the last car is a Midland Reproductions kit from the California Zephyr. The man who built this train rode the real train many, many times.
