for all u talking shit ricky rubio is the best point guard in basketball since he was 18 he has been getting asked by nba teams to join such as Lakers, Orlando, Chicago, Philly etc but he would rather play for his home land and not in the NBA
@darringtony You must have a whole tree up your ass, every starting PG in the NBA is better then this kid and most bench PG's are too. I bet he either goes back home to play or gets benched and becomes completely irrelevant within 2 years of playing in the league, he's got skills but he's way to soft and easy to abuse in the post for him to go anywhere
@MoosePuncher93 lol, comment from a guy who doesnt know his basketball.. abuse in the post? todays basketball era is enforced with rules that is favorable on perimeter players, hes a perimeter guy, plus if you actually see him play, disregarding stats, hes quite smart and his"rookie" status compared to his experience is almost negligible
@MoosePuncher93 Rubio has got tremendous court awareness on both ends, yes, he's not physically gifted, but the PG is one position where it's not as critical. NBA is dominated by PGs nowadays with some of them being lightning-quick and tough to guard, but tell me, has not Steve Nash (and I'm making a point about him, because, if you take away the shooting, Rubio's game is very similar) proven that intelligence can get you places as a PG?
i've watched this guy play when he was 17 and i think he's really good at that time for his age.. haven't watch him since but i think he must be quite a player..
@bballrocker33 everyone knows the moves, question is can they pull it off when playing against 6 and 7 footers in a fast and physical game? dont think so
Yeah, not to take anything away from Rubio, obviously he's a great ballplayer; but you can pretty much go to any NYC, Chicago, Philly, etc playground, and find 12 year olds pulling this move off.
he is NOT going to be able to pull it off in the NBA on a daily basis!
