Well the game developers must have been the "stupid" ones, because that's what they programmed it to be. It's for balance, that's why all scoped weapons have "glint." from their scopes, otherwise it would be impossible to every find snipers.

I don't understand why the L96 apparently out does the M98. The L96 wasn't designed to do much over 700-800 meters. Even with a .300 or .338 magnum. The L115A3 on the other hand, probably would do 1800m+ with a .338 Lapua Magnum or 8.59mm.

@foxzity probably because in real life scopes don't reflect sunlight, scopes have special coating on the lenses that keeps them from reflecting sunlight and causing glare for the person looking through the scope. But in this game, yes that is the scope glint not a flashlight, unless your like me and you use a flashlight so other snipers can see you better for sniper fights.

How do you even get that far away from the objective? Is it different on PC? On the 360, there's like barriers you can't go out of or you'll get killed if you don't get back inside within 10 seconds.
