to all haters try to fly with A-380 your going to say wow with the elegance and comfort of this huge aircraft. first i flew with A-380 at suit class very nice. no noise. also the facility of the aircraft is the best. i can compare this aircraft to 747 A-380's comfort is the best.

and this aircraft can fly to distance!

I know why. Although this plane is huge and very impressive in terms of performance, it's butt ugly! That's what takes away all the magic. Airbus should've paid more attention on the looks.......

@miquel440 Because it's brute force, it's ugly, it's pointless grandstanding, and in every way, to use a good old archaic word, "nimiety". The world does not need a gigantic, hard to build airplane that is also hard on airports. I can almost guarantee that this plane is going to have HUGE maintenance problems from the extreme stresses placed on its enormous members. There is a good reason the 747 is the size that it is - bigger is not better. And - one accident where 800 die and it's finished.

Current A380s flying are configured for 555 passengers unlike the 800 that you state. Also there is less weight per wheel on A380 than there is for 747-400 and 747-8I so the 747 actually stresses airports and runways more so than A380.

Furthermore the A380 is currently the easiest airliner to make profit on. A 65% capacity it starts making money.

I wish you would get out of your preconceived notions and go out there and see the world before you talk. At the moment you are talking nonsense. The A380 is WAY more steadier and safer to fly on, and I can say that by being a passenger myself. Its by far the BEST liner that I have traveled on.

@antimatterXXXIII at least A-380 is a new style not like 747 copied to 60's [ LOL ] resized aircraft. A-380 is well tested aircraft. bigger is better for me because this aircraft is based on passengers comfort also to safety. look at the new Boeing NLA and Boeing 747-1000 it really sucks! A-380 is better than the new Boeing flying dolphins. Respect both Airbus and Boeing. and this aircraft is easy take off 30%-40% less runway.

@desilatetwo I don't care who makes airplanes, I like all of them! Airbus just has a misguided business model. Also - there is definitely a limit at which maintenance issues and powerplant stress overwhelm the benefit of massed passenger capacity. We already saw one example of this, where Qantas were pushing their Trents beyond recommended limits (within spec but over recommendation). The 747-8 is not a 60s airplane, it just leverages existing tooling and parts, which is smart business.

@antimatterXXXIII STFU 747-8 is a resized 60's 747 using a new type of GE engines. future of 747 from 60's to 2000's images never changed look at the image of 747 60's and 747-8 its almost the same dont defend Boeing's creation because Boeing cant even think a new format of a large aircraft DUH!!! life of 747 started with 747-100 followed by 747SP, 747-400 and 747-8L why number never changed? thats my question to you no more numbers for a new jumbo luxurious aircraft?

As far as I know only Singapore Air and Quantas have them for the time being. Lufthansa should be getting one before the end of 2009 and then Emirates airlines are next in line. You need to contact those airlines and check what services do they operate the A380 on and then book a ticket.
