hey gotta say i really love watching your guys's videos ...lol my names michelle too and i got with my 1st gf when i was 19 as well ..weird buut anywho i was really lucky and we were both fully out (i came out like a week before i got with her and was really lucky that she stayed by my side through the whole nerve wracking ordeal ) were still together and its been 3 1/2 years now ...but yea it must be really hard being with a girl who doesnt acknowledge that shes with you in public

You also never want to come out for someone else. When I was in my first "girl relationship", I felt like my not being out at home was holding us back. I wanted to be able to take her to her junior prom and things like that...so I told my parents. Neither took it too badly, but a few weeks later I got dumped. I still don't know how I feel about it.

My mom got drunk and outed me to everyone in my family and my mom's side AND my dad's side. Her long distance bill was really high that month. From that everpeience, I learned to respect someone's coming out process.

I agree that you shouldn't force anyone out of the closet. HOWEVER, I feel strongly that a relationship should not force you to compromise who you are. If you are comfortably out, and your partner is not , perhaps that just isn't the right person for you. As my mother said to me when I was a wee dyke, "Jill, if you're going to give all of you, you deserve someone who is willing to do the same." Yes, my Mom is the schiz.

hahaha very cute opening Michelle. I was there as well, I was the girl that did not want to come out at the age of 17,18,19 or 20. My first ever real relationship with a girl ... well she did not have it easy with me, to the point where I ended up braking her heart ( I was her first relationship at the time as well) It took a very long time for me to be cool with my self and actually learn from everything that had happend, same with my ex. We are best friends now. Nice video Michelle :o)

I think everyone needs time to deal with everything happening. If the girl that acts like she's straight in public is doing that, it might only be because she never thought that she could be gay... and now she's dealing with all these emotions.
