  • Very thought provoking. I have linked this to others and urge them to link to their friends

  • @petuniacar Thanks ^_^

  • awesome.....Best of luck...

  • excellent!

  • Very inspiring video. Made me think.

  • I am so happy that the people are solving their own problems in unique ways as best fits their country.

  • wow... lots of info... thanks ☂☂

  • Wow that was really good, your best video so far I think! But why do you post them on RAW? This is obviously not RAW!

How do you get around to get these interviews? Do you have some central contact somewhere that fixes interviews for ya or do you just entice them with a video camera and promise of (westener?) viewers?

And the dude on the videos avatar looks like Obama.

    Indian Obama!

    All hail Indian Obama!

  • @Degenskonto The reason this is on RAW is because it's not actually for me. And Tolokyo I'm just keeping as a Japan-based channel as most people there are Japan-oriented. This channel is just gonna be whatever is near to my heart at any given moment...that'll ebb and flow as my life ebbs and flows. Whoever wants to follow where my path takes me can keep an eye out here. ^_^

  • @Degenskonto Oh and that's Anshu Goopta - he soes some really AWESOME stuff. Can you believe they motivated a group of villagers to organize and dig their own well!?? Or build their own bridge!?? Just with little shovels and bamboo sticks. :-o

It's all part of a "Cloth for Work" program where they re-distribute old clothes from city-folk into the villages, but don't give them for free. They tell the villagers to work to fix a problem in the village in exchange for the clothes. :)

  • @ToLokyo So they fix their own problems... And get free clothes from it? Talk about motivation. The bridge looked a bit... Hazardous though

  • @Degenskonto Just saw your comment. O.o (I should check comments while I'm on the road more often...YouTube doesn't send me emails for reply comments)

Anyway, yep - you had it right. It might be a bit hazardous of a bridge, but since they built it, they can fix it and rebuild it and do whatever they need - no more waiting around for the gov't to come fix all their problems for them.

  • awesome.

    some good quotes in there.

  • @Oram22 Very quotable vid, isn't it? ^^
