comment to UssOmega1, ha, good one, MG42's would stop & chop up a lot of Jem'Hadar soldiers but if you want to stop and chop up a hell of a lot of Jem'Hadar soldiers try a modern Gatlin gun or a Vulcan gun, they do not spit bullets (like the MG42's do), they spew out bullets. i wonder if Jem'Hadar body armour would be good enough to stop 50 Cal bullets. yes i do know that this battle scene is not real and is part of a certain very well known Sci-Fi TV series.

authors of star trek were pretty lame trying to imagine 24th century weaponry... one good old fashioned machinegun would do the job better than entire starfleet squad, not speaking of any kind of body armor
