This guy I've always liked is blowing hot and cold with me. When he texts me, he usually wants me to drop everything and hang out with him. Thing is, after we hang out, he just drops me for days, weeks, even months. I've got to say, I'm starting to feel like a whore, and I don't think giving him my best is the best idea right now. Send him a text that says......wats up? If u dont hear something back2 explain why he's disappeared......erase his number out of ur fon. Then if he does contact u in a month, he'll get the reply at that time that he deserves.....when u text back- "I'm sorry, who is this?"
All I know is that once a guy becomes "cold" suddenly (and i'm not talking about one day or a few hours, I'm talking about a few days after being "consistent"), I would call him out on it. If I'm still not getting anything back, then it's done with me. Why bother? I have a life too. And the more I try to "win" someone over who isn't reciprocating back, the more I'm wasting my time. My life was awesome before I met him - happy, did my thing, so why mess it up over one guy who suddenly got cold?
Contrary to the top comment...I think this actually good advice. Why not let someone see your best sexy self whenever?! Why would you hold that back because you feel someone doesn't deserve it? In the end they realize they are the one who are missing out. It doesn't mean you have to get back with them. He's coming from a man's point of view that's why us ladies have a hard time understanding why you would do this. I think it's so true.

I understand why you're offering up this advice, and I also understand that most of the people turning to you for advice are young women. But as an older women, I have to say, I think that giving a guy your best when he's blowing hot and cold and throwing you crumbs is self-devaluing. If a guy is neglecting you, ignoring you, or popping in and out of your life when it suits HIM, and this hurts you, your only two options as a self-respecting woman are: A) Tell him how you feel, B) Lose him.

If he is cold towards you, it just means "he is not that into you." So don't try too hard, he is not gonna come around anyway. And trying too hard might be bad for your self-confidence. Just move on to the next guy.

It worked, he hadn't called yet, but texted, but only after I texted him and yesterday he was late calling, just like today and I didn't go off on him and ask why so late? I acted totally like it was still early in the day and acted with confidence and we had a great conversation and I could tell he was happy to talk to me. Thank you!!!!
