Yes, they are custom Woodmizer blades, resharpened by Woodmizer as well.

Oh yea, that is one truely SWEET machine. How long does a blade last? That's one of my biggest expenses, Band saw blades. Do you resharpen them?

a little work on the machine and it would be much more pleasant to work with. Operator needs to be kitty-corner to where he is, get's him out of the saw dust and makes it so he's pushing instead of pulling.

Since this video was shot, the sawdust issue has been fixed with the installation of a chute.

And the mill is on a slight downhill slope, so actually when the blade is sharp and everything is running properly, the operator holds it back, ever so slightly, from moving along the log, downhill - No pulling involved!

I dont think its beer' its probably soapy water to lube the blade and keep pine pitch from building up on the band. as for the lazy dog it least he's not chasin cars lol
