No problems with my hero. It's fucking badass if you know how to use the android market well. Neat stuff. The battery is alright I charge it every night and I use the fuck out of it. If you need a phone get this. It will do a lot more tan you need it to do. Fuck what these spoiled brats say, this phone is the shit.

Piece of shit. I sure got raped real good when I bought this steaming pile. It worked well for 2 months then all hell broke loose, lets see...

-WiFi almost never works, when it does it's slow as balls (Yes, I have 3G), Never updates correctly, always somehow fails to update, even when taken directly to Sprint, Touch screen is morbidly unresponsive, so is trackball, Drops calls like a motherfucker, makes weird noises all the time (Beeps, grinding, etc), Charger fails to charge, overall SLOW

It's slimmer than the hero yet slightly heavier. my pet peeve is not haveing tech that's top of the line, it's probably the jonson county speaking out in me (don't know what johnson county is look it up) :3

Do not buy this phone! Sprint has officially stated that the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will no longer get Android UI updates. What that means is, it will forever be held at Android 2.1. This phone is obselete, THUMBS UP so perspective buyers know the truth.

@kaninnox008 if you buy this phone for sprint. it will only work for sprint. att, and tmobile use sims. this sprint phones (along with verizon) do not have sim card slots. if you buy this phone for sprint u HAVE to use it for sprint.

I have had mine for a week and I really like it, my last phone was the samsung instinct and I thought it was the bomb! the hero has a ton more "stuff" and everything seems to be working just fine, however the battery life is lacking, I am going to log off FB and turn off gps and see if that helps any.....

@alex927 It shipped with 1.5 and is still running it, but all signs point to the Hero getting a 2.1 update sometime this month. Sprint just rolled out the update for the Moment- the Hero version of 2.1 is a bit more involved since the phone has a custom user interface.

It's actually relatively good at phone calls, I will be the first to say, that it's no miracle worker on the phone part. Everything else though, is perfect. Lags a little, but to be expected from a low end phone. I love mine non the less, and wouldn't trade it for anything short of an Incredible or an EVO when it comes out.
