Just curious, but why increase the volume on each kick drum sample instead of raising the velocity to 100%?

@TheMrMarmalade - These two were originally from a free sample pack and then I processed them to change the sound. I have synthesised my own kicks and snares and they usually come out pretty well - Please like this comment if you'd want me to make a video on how to synthesise drums.
