  • I got to meet Jane about 5/6 years ago, and she's a lovely woman. Told all my classmates about it, and they had no idea who she is. Didn't matter, though, I still treasure the memory :)

  • Yup, Paul cheated on her. And if he didn't, there would be something wrong with him. It was the 60's, free love, everyone was sleeping with everyone, everyone was taking drugs, and Paul was probably the most desirable man on the entire planet. Credit to her for dumping him. Most women would have just put up with it, because it was Paul f'ing McCartney and they couldn't do any better. There are very few women who would dump Macca in that situation, no matter what they say.

  • Awesome video. Thank you, it is beautiful and it matches well with such a beautiful love song written by JPM, maybe for Jane Asher...the Beatles are full of mystery and controversy. Your video is perfection itself except for several images that are Faul (the fake Paul), not JPM. Faul, some believe his name is really William Campbell, and he replaced the real Paul in November or thereabouts of 1966...sad, but true. I hope the real Paul went on to live a wonderful life and still lives.

  • who would ever dislike this song

  • Linda was beautiful and a beautiful person, too. But none of the Beatles has ever been with more gorgeous girl than Jane Asher.

  • fagged

  • one Beatles track that dont get played ..im The Tax man ......try geting that played .

get that played over an over from 9-5 and see what happens :)

  • 0:46 george's photobomb!

  • if this was a woman i would probably marry her ♥.♥

  • everyone shut up, it was paul's choice

  • Jane was the Paul's muse....Linda was Paul's soulmate but Jane was the muse

  • I want to go back in time and make Paul write this song for me, or atleast pretend he did.

  • This is probably the most beautiful song I have ever heard.

  • Shit Jane Asher was gorgeous back then!

  • You know, it's not to say that any one person screwed up, making the mistake. Both Paul and Jane made decisions for themselves and neither were for the worse. Paul made a lovely family with Linda, oh who can deny? Jane Asher would never be at a loss for pursuing her career; such a lovely lady. Both Paul and Jane were winners. His interaction with the Asher family made Paul more refined, thus contributing to his quality. Please love them both, together or apart.

  • In Aug. 1964, I was just shy of my 12th birthday. We were hanging out across from the Lafayette Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J., where the Beatles were playing. I was SO JEALOUS of Jane Asher. There were women at the top floor of the hotel, which appeared to be all glass, looking down at us. I COULDN'T STAND THE THOUGHT that is was Jane Asher up there! Now I feel so sad they never married. I would love to see more recent photos of Jane. I bet she's a lot prettier than Paul after all these years!

  • I Hate this fucking song, this makes me cry...hell! I really love this song :(

  • shoulda woulda coulda!!

  • changing my life with a touch of her hand

  • paul loved jane and he loved linda also. both truly,it`s just that in almost everyones life ,a love lost is replaced by a love found.

  • Didn't Paul write "I'm Looking Through You." about his relationship with Asher?

  • I think That this song along with others such as let it be and And I love Her and Accross the Universe, demonstrate a real magic to the Beatles. They had a message and a sophisticated way of delivering that message in every single song that they wrote together. their music is different always in sound and feeling if you will. But is always the same in that it is always very well thought out and that every song is different than the one that came before it. That is what makes the Beates music.

  • I wish Paul wouldv've married her after Linda died instead of traitor Heather

  • excelent !!!

  • oh, paul!!! you semed so falling love of that woman, and she was realy cute!! he wrote fabolous songs to her, he cut all of his hair for can be with her, and after, he met another woman, jane found them together and the relashionship was OVER!!!! I just cant believe that....

  • 1:26, Jane looks like an old woman!

  • Fuck you guys paul was miserable with her and vice versa they were a bad match sure they were both famous but that means nothing to the power of love where as linda pulled him from his being lost and just look at the footage of them together... then make your opinion

  • All they're girfriends were pretty, but not incredebly beautiful

  • Jane was so pretty. My favorite Beatle girlfriend

  • I hope for you that one day you are lucky enough to fall in love.

  • Jane is a beautiful, talented woman. Paul really messed up when he lost her.

  • @sabra734: From what I heard (also, Paul's songs from that time period), their relationship was nothing less than complicated. She was always on the road with plays and such, as was Paul with the Beatles. I'm sure they loved each other, but the relationship was just about doomed from the start. Although, I love Paul's songs that were inspired by her. (:

  • i like this vid!!!!!! love the beatles! love paul!!

  • she's very cute. I like her hair.

  • After some time.I don't have a problem with Jane. She's an ok gal. I just don't understand why fans of her hate Linda so much. See if I put that I think Linda is cool a lot of people will get angry and put little minus things on my comment. I just don't understand why people don't like Linda. She didn't break up Paul and Jane...I just don't understand....

  • dead it!!!!!!!

  • I love Jane Asher, she's still very beautiful today too.

  • O Katie lol...this songs not bad....but proof that i DID watch it :D

  • I am so jealous of Jane ! She looked so cute, so perfect. I don't know why but I don't really like Linda ; I Prefer Jane. But it's good for Paul if he was happy with Linda. Maybe if he had married with Jane they can had children, we won't know but that's just my opinion. Thanks for this video, the picutres are wonderful ! (sorry for my bad english, I'm French)

  • Paul and Jane were a lovely couple! I wish he had married her.

  • Me too!

  • But Linda is much better. See Paul wanted to have children but Jane didn't. In the end Paul has 4 kids (technically 3) and Jane never had her own. Paul and Linda are just better. That's my opinion.

  • You do have a point, beatlesrockmesox, Linda was much better for Paul. I just think that Paul and Jane were a cute couple. And I only put her in this video because the song was written with her in mind

  • @TomorrowNeverKnows24 i thought jane had a miscarage thats why they split ?

  • @1987Dantheman They split because Jane caught him with another woman; they also had some problems because Jane's career was as inportant to her as Paul's was to him. Partly that just made it hard for them to find time to be together, and partly Paul wanted his woman to be at home, like Cynthia Lennon and Maureen Starkey were. But ultimately he must have gotten over it; he seems to be attracted to accomplished, intelligent women.

  • Jane had 3 kids!!!She were very young when stay with Paul...now she is a mother

  • Now she is a 'grandmother'.

  • @beatlesrockmesox Jane had children of her own. But Linda was a perfect fit for Paul

  • They would have divorced.

  • dead it!!!!!!!

  • I don't understand your reply.

  • @annaliese9 but he wouldn't have met Linda..and they were deeply in love :)

  • @doctorwhofan13 I never bought that love story about Paul and Linda. It seemed so contrived. With Jane it seemd the real thing.

  • Cool! I noticed this on your page so I wanted to check it out. I'm adding it to the club page.

  • Thanks!
