game: steam and x other games work just fine on mac.
virtual pc: sun virtual box or parallels work perfectly.
formatting: use bootcamp and youve got x different OS parallel on your physical drive, i remember you that while testing which laptop runs vista the fastest the answer was the macbook pro 17''. dunno bout win 7 (arent any tests out yet, but the result will be equal).
I'll take my own advice on my i7 before I listen to some guy who pretends to be the CTs from Counter-Strike on a show that was cool for only 1 season.

Two graphics cards: a GTX 470 and a GTS 260, lowest one being a 1280 mb card slid together. i7 overclocked to 3.6 Ghz, liquid cooling, 8 gig of RAM, also overclocked. It's running Windows 7 off of a solid state drive to boost the speed that much further. I'm not trying to brag, I'm trying to outshine the Mac'. =]

@venichen1: I wonder why that would be? Obviously, there's no need for them to switch OS/buy an entire system for no other reason than to even be able to (legally) use Mac OS X. Not to mention that you can usually get away with using a PC as long as you don't have to use a Mac-only program.
However, the main reason why there are so many haters on this video is most likely the sheer arrogance of whoever created the ad, an attitude that is (often hastily) associated with Mac-Users.

Macs seem to be designed for user friendliness, but offers little hardware customization and raw hardware power for the cost.
To sum it up, Macs are aimed for users who use their computers for music, movies, art, etc, and Windows based PCs are aimed to tech pros

virtual pc: sun virtual box or parallels work perfectly.
formatting: use bootcamp and youve got x different OS parallel on your physical drive, i remember you that while testing which laptop runs vista the fastest the answer was the macbook pro 17''. dunno bout win 7 (arent any tests out yet, but the result will be equal).

@Thepoliticman I'll give Mac a slight edge in speed, life, and lack of viruses, but definitely not double. The no upgrading is nice too, but I've seen Macs crash and have errors too. The PC I run now has never crashed in three years (though I agree there are enough that do crash).
A Mac is worth a little more than a PC, but not nearly worth what they charge.

Two graphics cards: a GTX 470 and a GTS 260, lowest one being a 1280 mb card slid together. i7 overclocked to 3.6 Ghz, liquid cooling, 8 gig of RAM, also overclocked. It's running Windows 7 off of a solid state drive to boost the speed that much further. I'm not trying to brag, I'm trying to outshine the Mac'. =]
