  • monopoly as in FEDEERAL RESERVE BANK CORPORATION digitizing at no cost out of thin air a compounding national debt which is used to proclaim that we all are debt slaves and we have to accept extorted theft called income tax to pay back the compounding false debt imposed by the owners of a private corporation. Thin air to compounding national debt to debt collection IRS extorted theft called income tax. NO NO NO my final anxwer. Disengagement is the weapon of choice in this leaderless revolt

  • I just don't understand where Paul's opinions derive.

Hypothetical. Say their was NO Government interference, AT ALL in the Economy. Tell me, how does that prevents private interests from over unning an entire sector of the economy? I still don't get the logic.

  • @Seedofwinter

You don't see the logic? You don't see the fact that if you can pass laws that hurt your competition, and restrict entry it is far easier to monopolize? You don't see that the market is not a vacuum. If you destroy all your competition by lowering price and then try to charge a higher price you en encourage the profit margin and more able people will want to enter your field? You don't understand that those laws are arbitrary and corporations lobby for them?

  • Q-Tip and Band-Aid are perfect examples of "free market monopoly". Sure there are others but u GENERALLY go for those.

  • Ron is a great host.

  • Looks Like We found where Waldo is

  • Nice to see some of the sources that Ron Paul pulled from to form his positions on stuff.

  • The problem I have with monopolies, the get big...so big they can not be allowed to fail. Without a state, I feel monopolies are acceptable. A state makes monopolies dangerous.

  • The State creates monopolies by forbidding or restricting competition.

Without a State, a monopoly could only exist if it was better than all the competition, meaning most people prefer to buy from this monopoly than anyone else.

  • @NoCryingNowYes I disagree. I do not think that Paul or Armentano are supporting anarchy. I agree that in almost every way government does more harm than good when it involves itself in the private sector. However, one cannot say that without a government, illegal actions such as sabotage of other businesses' practices would not take hold. Government should be existent, but as small as possible. The only thing the government should be concerned with is providing a legal playing field for all.

  • @NoCryingNowYes in addition, in the abscence of barriers to entry, any attempt for the monopoly to exploit will fail

  • Where did you get this?

  • Mirrored it from another user. It's in the description.
