definitely don't fall asleep driving this, it's got a nice audio system and I can either plug in my iPhone or stream the music via Google Music and sync it via bluetooth to the car. If I have to be in a gasoline car now, I feel deafened by the engine noise.
that's a boring journey no suite sound of exhaust when pushing the car...hope people won't fell a sleep driving. the inside of the car could be more trendy not so dull, but it's a Japanese car could expect more about design!
That's awesome! I wasn't told when I would be able to order (or maybe I was). But I should still get mine mid Dec. My birthday is on the 14th so that would be a pretty sweet present to myself.
I can definitely see the need for the liquid cooling in the Tesla, but Seattle is pretty mild and I think most people won't be pushing this like they're in Fast and the Furious 4 - Electric Mayhem! :p
They're supposed to start installing the chargers here in Seattle soon too. I hope they finish
@deadmantyping2 That's awesome! I filled out the questionnaire to be contacted by a dealer last week, but it turns out that it didn't open until yesterday, so I too won't get mine until Jan or February. I'll also order the SL, not sure of the color yet, but thinking either the Ocean Blue or Black.
I'm on the waiting list too and been notified i"ll be able to order my Leaf in October. Unfortunetly they wont be giving test drives here in Portland till November so your video was very educational. My only concern is that the leaf doesn't have an active liquid cooled battery pack like other EV's. Nissan says its confident in its battery technology and that liquid cooling/heating wont be necessary in most regions. Their 8 year 100,000 battery warranty would suggest that.

What is good about this is that it actually answers a bunch of questions that I had as a potential early adopter of the Leaf. Thanks to the test drive guy and his Nissan demo drive guy for hitting on many of the everyday driving things that would occur.
@harpzouki Thanks! I'm also on the reservation list to get one this December, but that video that Nissan put out about the pedestrian "siren" and the concerns about the actual distance per charge I'd get had me doubting whether or not I really wanted to get one. Now I am satisfied and convinced that I will get one.
This or the Tesla?
