Unable to watch this beyond 18 min. Poor animals. I feel ashamed to be a human,, fearing about what would have happened if I was anything other than a human... Oh, the irony! I pledge this second, to stop eating meat and show this video to everybody I can and do something about it.
I have been a vegetarina for more than 4 years now. I saw the first 30 minutes, I will keep watching but I want to say that this is just TOO MUCH. How can people still support this? How can we humans be so indiferent towards other beings and ourselves?...
I disagree with the obvious vegan propaganda message this film has. You can still eat meat and have animal byproducts without resorting to torturing, belittling and disrespecting the animals of which you are using as a food source. I buy most of my animal byproducts and meats from the farmers market from respectable family farms, not corporate factory farms. You don't need to go vegan to stop factory farms, let your money talk for you, buy from family own farms who treat animals with respect.
@LadyBludgeon It's only one to two dollars extra than the tortured meat at Publix/ Winn Dixie. At family own farms the animals get to see sunlight, feel dirt under their feet and live a nice, comfortable life. Due to this, their meat is sweeter, softer and fulls you up better than factory ones. To support them further you don't need to eat animal byproducts in every meal and there are great alternatives for them that are plant base. Again its about balance.

Its easy to put the footage in this film down to a few one off incidents, but its not. Recently Animal Aid did secret investigations into 10 different slaughterhouses in the UK and in 9 of them they found abuse, including pissing on animals, dragging them by the ears, punching them and stubbing out cigarettes in their faces. How people can continue to consume/wear animals knowing the torture involved shocks me. The world has advanced so much that we do not need to use animals to survive anymore.

There's been research that strongly suggests other species, one being a type of whale, are near our intelligence and in the case of that whale, equal our intelligence (The species in question has achieved a complex, sound-based communication system that is more complex than English). I can't even watch this. I hate how people treat animals, it's disgusting and I don't know how they can even pull themselves to be so cruel. I disagree with the obvious vegan propaganda message this film has. You can still eat meat and have animal byproducts without resorting to torturing, belittling and disrespecting the animals of which you are using as a food source. I buy most of my animal byproducts and meats from the farmers market from respectable family farms, not corporate factory farms. You don't need to go vegan to stop factory farms, let your money talk for you, buy from family own farms who treat animals with respect.

At family own farms the animals get to see sunlight, feel dirt under their feet and live a nice, comfortable life. Due to this, their meat is sweeter, softer and fulls you up better than factory ones. To support them further you don't need to eat animal byproducts in every meal and there are great alternatives for them that are plant base. Again its about balance.

Its easy to put the footage in this film down to a few one off incidents, but its not. Recently Animal Aid did secret investigations into 10 different slaughterhouses in the UK and in 9 of them they found abuse, including pissing on animals, dragging them by the ears, punching them and stubbing out cigarettes in their faces. How people can continue to consume/wear animals knowing the torture involved shocks me. The world has advanced so much that we do not need to use animals to survive anymore.

There's been research that strongly suggests other species, one being a type of whale, are near our intelligence and in the case of that whale, equal our intelligence (The species in question has achieved a complex, sound-based communication system that is more complex than English).
