Blackra1n definitly work on version 3.1.2 100% so dont be scared.. All u hve to d is go to blackrain and choose whether windows or mac then plug in ur device and press make it rain then thats it w8 for reboot... PS dont open itunes when ur doing the process...

i used quick freedom, which erased everything from my ipod, so i just synced it to my computer and i got it all back. you cant get your apps back on it though. (use cydia or installous and you can get all of your apps and more free)
