  • and what???? the computer is great 'cos u cant hear it????!!! what a fucking idiot. You can put that foam in some bitch mouth a you will not hear her. What a fucking retards !

  • I have this case too but i but in my own hardware. It's really good for office but for a real gamer it's bad. There was now airflow because i put some fans in front. It's quit too but i wouldn't take this case again i will take now the new case of cooler master(HAF X Nvidia Edition). My graphics got in this Graphics Card got in this cas 70-80C°! In my new case it is 40-50C°. But nice Video with best whishes Napstar

  • My computer is loud as hell. Something in the range of 20-30dB... -.-

  • cpu is too hot...

  • @error262 76c is pretty cool for a I7...

  • @error262

    Nah, not for an i7

  • i think when you closed the door the the pc the mic turned off o.O

but seriously. thats hella quiet :O

  • Trying to hear the system near the end i had to max my speaker's volume... and then almost got deaf by the sound of the video xD

  • You speak like like a radio announcer ...with no real personality whatsoever. It's creepy.

Ever tried to drop the jive and speak normally?

  • 24kg? woah

  • Does anyone know what those white SILENT fans are in that system? Rodney made a point of not mentioning their make/model, so as not to give away a family secret for building these quiet pc's lol. I need to get them for my workstation...thanks in advance

  • Nexus 120 mill's at 4:20

  • cheers mate....already bought noiseblockers and akasas awaiting todays delivery :) thanks anyways

  • Comment removed

  • thanks for that. I already got some Akasas a few weeks back and they r not too bad.....

  • An ATI 4850 is not a workstation graphics cards so in reality IT IS NOT A WORKSTATION PC. Even if it has the i7 940 it is still not considered a workstation because a 4850 would perform significantly less in Cad and CG programs compared to an ATI FirePro or an Nvidia Quadro...

  • its the best SILENT graphics card. if they instaled a quadro or a firepro it wouldnt be quiet anymore.

  • @Ajogamer: It still shouldn't be called a workstation PC because there's nothing workstation about it...

  • Why don't they just install a Corsair H50 cpu cooler with one intake fan.

  • That is epic. "Now, have a listen, at this system" (pushes button) (hear nothing). Absolutely epic.

  • its more like rendering your gaming nerds calm down....

it great for using Rhino 3D max, AutoCad...the list goes on.

high end PC don't just mean GAMING. but almost 3 G's for a PC that WILL be outdate in short time...ehhhhh

  • flawns is right.

Besides, there is about a grand of profit on this system, which you could make yourself for about a grand ...

  • Really? hmm did i understand this correctly? your saying the company is charging a extra $1,000?

    ಠ_ಠ

  • Its just a computer which, if you bought the items seperately and then built it yourself, you would be off WAY cheaper.

They just added some foam and mounted some other fans...

  • @Crodon Who would know the combination of devices selected would be so quite unless you have experience.

Plus who would know how to do RAID 0 and install windows except technicians of certain level.

Please don't under estimate the challenge of custom building a computer; It is really hard for average people and entry level technicians.

  • IF they could put a *fanless* 4850 video card in a workstation, I wonder what they could do with an even higer end video card.

2800 is spend but I think it would be cheaper to have them downgrade the memory, or Bluray and upgrade the video card. Would make a very fine machine.

    I like the review.

  • 2800 USD workstation ?

    Pass

  • hmm psu on the bottom seems like it would put additional heat load on the video card, due to convection

  • Wrong the psu sucks cool air from bottom of the case and exhaust it outside the case

  • w/ a 4850 ....not bad.

  • he said

    pc for working

i donty think that 4850 12gb ram, is for working

    rodney is a bit crazy.

  • hahah "if you want to"

  • Cmon, 12gb ram and a pretty good graphics card thats not a working pc ..., Thats a gaming pc .

  • Looks like a good gaming computer but not a max settings for sure

  • y is it not a gaming pc? aside from the mainstream video card is this a high-end setting, isnt it?

  • u can chose ssd's in theyr site when purchasing it and the video card is 4830 :(

  • KICK-AAAASSSSSSSSS

  • Hey Rodney, got your Corsair Obsidian yet? I can't wait for you to review it.

  • What kind of "Work" needs a Gaming card and i7?

  • A work pc using CAD, video editing 3D rendering or whatever. There's plenty of things to think about

  • idk lol maybe they do photo shop or play games for work

  • This was practically another review about the case.

  • That thing was absolutely categoricaly ridiculous! There was more sticks of ram in that machine than i have had hot meals! Purely ridiculous. I do have to say that i would never ever buy a pc like that at that price under any circumstance, it would be far more worth it to have that kind of money lying around to build one! God that would be ace! :)

  • If you want to render large media files, such as video with full size frames, you really need a rendering card such as the Matrox RTX500, so as not to be relying on an already overworked enough CPU. The sound from the loudspeakers will drown out the noise of the computer. And the seemingly elaborate measures to deaden the sound, are necessary because a home built machine does not have the bespoke internal ducting of a machine made by Dell, for example, which is quiet by design.

  • that was bull i dont even think he turned it on lol

  • Crank your speakers up all the way and you can kinda hear it

  • It's long to have new videos =(

  • Finally! Another 100% Kickass review!

  • nice system.. they shouldve pick scythe gentle typhoon instead but it would cost more..

i wonder where tey get their acoustic form from, would love to get some for my p182

  • The graphics card was bent...

  • No it wasn't!

  • The best part about this video was the fact there's a city called Battle Ground.

  • oh look...it's the Antec P183's video review again...

  • 1 gig vid card ftb yeee

  • sold, im going to get 10 for my office!

  • Rodney,

u forgot that the workstations too need videocard in many cases not just the gaming pc. Most of the workign stations always go with such a video card for professionals who use softwares like CAD, Adobe Photoshop, High End Dual Monitor configuration and editing and encoding purposes...and professional cards r costlier than gaming card. that one looks like a professional card.

    SSD was the right suggestion.

  • xD lol this is a great computer system i think for people who do not game just use the internet and who want a Quiet pc

    tottally agreed on the 100%

    Soundless :D but i'm a gamer tough ^^

  • Nice, I couldn't even hear it, nice job on the video too.

  • Good man soo silent, thats great

  • HDDVD FTW!

  • omg blueray hddvd drive YAY

  • lololololol

  • Nice video.

  • I went to their site and it says you can customize a computer but they have no links or anyway of doing so. Only thing they have is links for parts and some of those come up with no items under the link. Is the site new and not finished? whats up with it ?

  • Comment removed

  • This will be kicking more asses if it got a more powerful video card

  • Comment removed

  • 1. its a workstation pc - so it dosnt need more

    2. that card is quite good

  • 1. for a workstation pc, it doenst need those hardcore hardwares

    2. with this setup, the card is underpowering the whole pc

  • depends on the job. some people need very powerful cpus for encoding media,

  • is it supposed to not make a sound

  • really?

  • it's a joke

  • Was it even running?

  • have a listen to this computer system: *silence*

  • what is the best lan and and hom computer case in both mid and full tower cases ? plz help thinking of zalman zmachine gt900 as lan case and silverstone raven rvo1 as home case anny other good tips ------thx

  • the antec 900 is a great one, i dont like the new 902 though.

  • I own a antec 900 and i've recently build a computer for a friend in a antec 902. The 902 Is very good, he cable management wholes are awesome and the black inside is really nice and it also has dust filters. Imo it's better (alot) then the antec 900. though, if you're someone who does mods like drill cablemanagement wholes and maybe do a black paintjob+add dustfilters, the antec 900 cool look more awesome. I'm going to do these small mods to my antec 900 soon ;)

  • i got a silverstone TJ07 as my home PC, but its like twice as exspensive, but way more high quallity (brushed aluminum)

  • I think you don't quite understand what is meaning when we say WORKSTATION pc. It's often the PC that are for CAD designer, video editor and so on.

It's NOT for average user's and even if it's seem similar as an High end Gaming PC the MB is not design in that way.

  • Are you stupid THEBIGGESTPENISEVER?????

    office ≠ workstation

  • OK my fault guys

you are better on CS than me

    Computer Studies

  • yeah becuse you really need 12gb ram for gaming .. ;P

  • aRE

  • People stop complaining.... It looked to me like an amazing build by that company. looks VERY quiet...... also looks VERY professional....

    Excellent review Rodney

  • noctua makes black fans now or did rodney swap it out?

  • Those are Nexus fans

  • overkill workstation pc....

  • What are these 15K RPM SAS hardrives? I've never heard about them.. 15K ? O_o Are they worse than SSD's ?

  • those are server grade drives. it has been around for a while. correct me if i am wrong but, SSD's are still faster

  • you are not wrong and server drives burn out in a few months..

  • they r called Scuzzies' (or so i think they are called) and they are used by industries that store large amounts of storage space. my uncle who works at sun uses them. they are a basic hard-drive that dont know that its a hard-drive. they are hard to explain but you use software as the firmware so it doesn't know its a hard-drive until u install the software.

  • You mean SCSI ;)

  • SCSI units have been there since... for ever, they've always been designs for server applications. Note all ide/sata consumer units can be found in an SCSI "flavor".

For personal use Sata2 is better, SCSI slowly fade away but for some situation anything else wouldn't cut.

  • wow that gets hot!

  • Wow Battle Ground. What a cool name for a place. This is a good computer it has the right price for the hardware components you get.

  • thats a gaming rig now a workstaion rig

  • Looks decent...

  • I dont like fanless graphics cards as they get to hot at times.

  • I never get tired of your reviews Rodney :D

  • PS/2 keyboard AND mouse?? how does that work if you have a PS/2 keyboard and mouse???

  • you can buy adapters that will fit it. I'm sure it was included in the packaging, but he just didn't say.

  • oh...okay then. thanks

  • that is not cheap at all shit !

  • does that case come with that foam?

  • yes

  • this looks like a paid advertisement done by the company. Bribing at its best. Rodney you disappointed me.

  • Always, he is a yes man. The right price he will sale anything but he does do a really good job.

  • All his reviews are advertisements

  • 7:19 , straight @ you kimzor1989

  • The temps are a little high.

In couple of months I believe this will be a offce mainstream computer and the prices will go down but meanwhile it's not the best option. I like the fact that there is a real person on the line and not a recorded meassage.

  • Those aren't lan ports, they can be connected directly to wan :)

NICs is a better word. :) (Network interface card)

  • kick ass ur domed ass.

  • that's a really bad way to spend that amount of money, if it is a workstation pc why they didn't use FireGL or Quadro VGA ? a nice watercooler system for CPU/VGA/RAM/Chipset/MOSFETS/HDD would be better for the noise problem, and would it work better.

and you r right about the SSD, a raid 0 of 2 73gb scsi HDD would be = to noise !!!

why did you made a review about this product ?? it has so many flaws...

  • After seeing those results, they did not install that cooler properly if it was left at stock speeds.

SSD's are silent and faster then the scsi they chose also..

  • BS.

  • which part...

  • (4:18) The fans are not stock.

So the cooler is installed properly.

  • Well that is amazing that the fans are not stock but has nothing to do with how the cooler was installed... For stock clocks and a after market cooler such as that it is quite poor performance.

  • Uh Rod, You might want to look at the price of that computer again... Not sure how this is 100% Kick ass when you could easily build this computer and do the same mods for at least have the price. Maybe less even.... I'm assuming that is US dollars as well which is even for ridiculous.

  • Whatever they send him he gets to keep so..... this is quite a good amount of free cash for him.

  • You know there are ppl who do not want to / can not build a WORKSTATION PC.

Yes, there is a difference between a workstation pc and a cheap, overclocked, high performace gaming rig.

  • Comment removed

  • what website Address for that company

  • Slick PC and great, thorough review.

  • I cant belive how quite it is.

my 1 80mm cpu fan is louder than the fridge sometimes...on idle..

  • well 80mm fans are damn load =P

  • not like this one. idle is at 1600rpm....

  • AND A PENCIL INCLUDED ! HAHA lol

  • dude, you make so many videos so damn fast xD!!

  • fanless 4850? that scares me... seeing as my old 4850 got up to 80c load with a fan....

  • Maybe youube should get off their lazy butts anf fix issues instead of lying back and counting their cash

  • YouTube removed another one of my videos, reviews #1093. I just contacted them about it. YT seems to be having lots of issues lately.

  • YouTubes currently converting 20+ HOURS of video every minute, I'm guessing twice as well for SD and HD. Give them a break.

  • Nice pc rodney!!!!

  • Video not supported in iPhone :(

  • YT hasn't processed to HD yet!

  • finally you start to respond our questions!!!!!!

  • LOL wont every1 be surprised ;)

  • Looks like a great setup. What's interesting is how they don't outsource their tech support. That's HUGE these days. Being able to speak with people domestically who know what they're talking about. But also because it keeps people employed and in the industry over here. Which I find to be important.

  • True, there nothing worse than calling a company and not being able to understand the person you are talking with or them noting having the knowledge.

  • cool looking product

and lol at the first comments

    keep it up rodney

  • What are you going to do for your 1100 video :)?

  • Nice

  • Love the vids. keep them comming
