touchscreen is just starting, we will see big improvements in the future and yes mouse and keyboard are condemned to die.

its just that need some time for the technology to mature.

It is just painful to watch what you can do with this computer. The touch capabilty seem very slow and jerk and everything that you do can be done faster with a mouse click.

My hp touchsmart tx2 is coming tomorrow, can't wait. It is a nice looking machine. It don't look all professional looking which is why i like it. It may be a bit laggy but so is the my iPhone. You just have to know how to work it and be patient of the whole half second it doesn't respond. Oh and that tune is from Ragar (NES). Ok, that was embarrassing. Sorry I mentioned it.

X61 (now the X200) definitely has some strengths to it, but that is talking about a business machine vs a consumer one. And the HP has capacitative touch and multitouc, which is a big deal for some people.

This computer is a prototype, so thats why it lag. Nothing wrong with the computer, the right and finished version isnt installed yet, on this one.
