Mike's not a bad singer - and does it matter THAT much that he came in too early with the 2nd verse? Even Graham Lyle forgot the words to 'I Wanna Stay With You' at Gallagher & Lyle's reunion concert in Largs last year; Benny had to prompt him. From 'Can The Can' to 'Mickey', the songs of Chinn and Chapman are evergreens. Even my Dad, who didn't like The Beatles, loved Chinn and Chapman's songs.

Forget his singing he was part of a fantastic song writing duo from the 70's along with Nicky Chinn...They wrote som fab songs for amongst others,Mud,Smokie etc....Thanks Mike for all those songs you wrote for artistes i grew up with as a kid in the 70's...

This is a terrific video! They both are having fun. This always was my favorite SUZI QUATRO song and album. As for the critics of MIKE CHAPMAN, he should be given kudos for doing this. My all time favorite singer JOHN LENNON was always forgetting his own lyrics and the correct order of verses, just check out many of the live BEATLES clips. So, MIKE you are in good company!  MIKE CHAPMAN produced an amazing amount of great albums, including one of my all time favorites "GET THE KNACK' !!

Ah, gee, just love this version! I think it is really one of the best ones. Never mind that Chapman is a bad singer, but they have the right feeling, that's what you see and hear. The song tells the story of two who know each other for years, being still friends - and these guys have the right feeling for each other. Kind of love ;)

@shaniahb70 best comment! Chapman actually used to sing in a band called Tangerine Peel in the late 60's before he moved to the UK in 1970 to try his luck there as a songwriter with Nicky Chinn. It's very moving to see that these two are still good friends with so much animosity, jealousy and hatred running rife in the music business.

This version is the best?? I think this is the worst version i ´ve ever heard. The reason why?? OK, I like the music from Suzi, but she was never a good live performer. And Mr. Mike Chapman is one of the best songwriter of the world, but a very bad singer.
