  • best thing to get to get your back ripped is a roman chair.. its worth whatever the price is... or when i didnt have one, i would lay face down on the floor, put my toes on the couch/bed as grip , put my hands behind my ears and push myself up, u will need a towel or something comfy on the floor though.

  • I do the bridge for 2 minutes (both legs though), and still don't know what muscles are exercised :/

    some1 told me it works the "inner abdominals" whatever that means (as opposed to sit-ups which works the "outer abdominals", wtf???)

    anyway lower back is VERY hard to work outside a gym cause there ain't appropriate equipment we can buy for working these muscles, is the cobra exercise the best there is for the lower back?

  • @schwarzfalk Cobra is a good body weight exercise for the lower back.

    There is equipment you can get for your lower back. A weight. Find an elevated flat surface that allows you to hang your torso off the surface at the hip. Hold weight to chest. Dip your torso down, then bring it up. That's lower back.

    As for inner vs outer abdominal's- you have the internet at your disposal. No excuses there buddy.

  • great excercise and workout suggestions. i always end up with a sore back anytime i do a sit up or crunch type ab workout so I have to do one that doesnt put excessive strain on my lower back. these two excercises are perfect. thanks so much for sharing them, take care

  • The cobra maybe not so good for everyone, since your hyper extending your back, it does work though. The plank is a solid core exercise, try doing it at the end of a killer ab workout. Also be sure to check out my videos.

  • you have to stretch more before and after doing it ..

  • if you make your arms paralell to your legs and not inward it makes the exercise much more difficult since you are distributing the weight to your core not your arms
