Medical studies conducted in developed countries (USA, Australia, and the UK) indicate that circumcision is NOT effective at curbing HIV transmission. HIV/AIds is about equally distributed between circumcised and intact American men.
It is gratuitous to project findngs from just 3 RCT studies designed and conducted in Sub-Saharan Africa onto the USA or other developed nation. They clearly don't apply! Even within Africa there is huge inconsistency in findings.
@psandbergnz Wow.. You have no idea what your talking about. Your like a creationist. Your not a scientist, your not of high academic quality, your just a fool on youtube.

YES! That is a yes or no answer. There is no placebo period end of discussion; your wrong.
Based on the arguments you bring up I can tell you didn't purchase and read studies
@MacHead31, your petty banter only shows up your own ignorance and deficiency in any scientific training. Interesting how you can't directly respond to the questions I posed. If circumcision were protective against STDs (incl. HIV), it is unlikely that the USA (80% circ'd!) would be so rife with them! As the APA (USA) says:
"Among first-world nations, the U.S. continues to have the highest rates of STDs, 10-50 times higher than other first-world nations such as Sweden and France."
@psandbergnz Looks like you have your work cut out for you figuring out what is actually going on around you. Use your brain your an evolved being... You can do it!
@psandbergnz >If circumcision were protective against STDs, it is unlikely that the USA (80% circ'd!) would be so rife with them<
I have answered this 1,000 times already on this one video.
The simple answer is HIV is not airborne so we wouldn't expect to find a correlation among different geographical locations. Go pick up a science book and learn how STDs transfer.
Your like a creationist saying the same bogus claim over and over again: Where are the transitional forms of life from evolution?
@MacHead31, what has being "airborne" got to do with it? HIV transfers between body fluids, and that is how we have an HIV pandemic now. HIV is about equally distributed between circumcised and intact (i.e. men with a normal penis) American men.
The pubmed studies you base your argument on are mostly comparisons between countries, i.e. ecological, so you have weakened your own argument, but are too thick to realise it.
@psandbergnz How does an airborne virus work? You tell me because I am not going to spoon feed you information anymore. What is the difference between a virus that is and one that is not in terms of its geographical location and how they transfer? What will it take to increase the HIV virus in EUR?
Please answer those questions and maybe you will figure it all out.
>The pubmed studies you base your argument on are mostly comparisons between countries<
@MacHead31, your question is so poorly worded and inarticulate that it is clear you are befuddled. Amost all the pubmed studies on circumcision/HIV are cross-country comparisons. The fact you don't understand this means you have no knowledge of them.
It's funny how you Americans ignorantly vaunt the benefits of circumcision, when the USA, whose adult male population is 80% circumcised, is so rife with EVERY TYPE of STD, having more of them per capita than any other developed nation.
male circumcision helps to prevent female-to-male HIV transfer, once the wound has healed. Having any open wound on your penis will increase you chance to get HIV.
@MacHead31 how? There is more friction on circumcised males during intercourse. And plus studies have shown NO significant results in HIV transfers from male to female, or female to male just like the video says. Can you list a study that shows differently? I'd love to read it.
@MacHead31 I've read some of those and they come to the same conclusion. Not a statistically noticeable change. They do state on one that the fact that men got circumcised to prevent HIV would also psychologically motivate that individual to wear condoms or be in a monogamous relationship because they were aware of the risk of HIV. This would also skew any test results of this nature. I think 65+ million years of evolution gave us the best possible organ to survive with. Why mutilate it?
@MacHead31 i've actually read a few of those studies now and the best one only saw a 5% difference, and most only showed less than1%. It's doubtful those results are reproducible. seriously though is 5% good enough to mutilate a child? America has the most male circumcisions and the highest HIV rates, obviously genital mutilation isn't beneficial
@MacHead31, all those studies in pubmed are based on findings from third-world countries, almost all from Sub-Saharan Africa, and even then, there is much inconsistency in the findings.
Should medical procedures in the USA be based on results of studies designed and conducted in the Sub-Sahara? Do you take anti-malaria pills regularly, and get inoculated against cholera every 6 months?
Btw, "RCT" is NOT the gold standard. "DOUBLE-BLIND" is!
@MacHead31 I have a question for you. If Circumcision stops HIV from spreading, then why are America and Europe the most prevalent for both HIV and Circumcision? Looking at the data it appears that countries that have the highest rates of circumcision also have the highest rates of HIV. My question is why?
@GodKillerAtheist HIV is not an airborne virus so looking at certain countries and comparing circumcision rates & HIV rates will not tell you anything.
1k HIV infected individuals can take a 1 week vacation to EUR and not infect one single person (all because it isn't airborne). Now swine flu, which is airborne will not behave that way. If 1k individuals with swine flue got on a plane to anywhere that diseases will spread fast. To find out why HIV is so high in the US watch my video.
@MacHead31 that's my point HIV is not airborne it's sexually transmitted. Why are countries with higher circumcision also highest in HIV. Countries with the same amounts of population that have lower circumcision rates have lower HIV rates. To me it's common sense. More friction more chance of contracting HIV. I'm telling you I wish I had more foreskin because I can fuck for hours and hours till the girl is dry....foreskin makes evolutionary sense.
@GodKillerAtheist If the virus is not airborne then you can not compare ecological differences. So you can not compare countries. How do you not understand that? I don't know what else to say because I don't see how you don't get it. I have given examples (swine flu). I have used definitions and you still don't understand it. I don't know what to say back. If HIV was airborne we could compare countries but it is not.
@MacHead31, you say that since HIV isn't airborne, ecological differences are irrelevant. Really?
Then why do you base your supposition that circumcision protects by referring to the 40 or so medical studies in "pubmed"? Nearly all the pubmed studies on HIV and circumcision are ecological (comparisons BETWEEN DIFFERENT African COUNTRIES, countries which have marked social, religious and cultural differences). Perhaps you think that Africa is a country, as appparently Sarah Palin does!
@MacHead31 says "Circumcision either does or does not prevent HIV, it doesn't matter what a person feels or thinks." No!
What if the 3 African RCT findings are based solely on the fact that the circumcised men got accustomed to using condoms? Condoms were an absolute requirement for the circumcised men during wound healing (not applicable to the intact men). Also, their altered penile state (recent circumcision) could serve as a constant reminder("reinforcer") for safe sex practices.
@GodKillerAtheist, hang on a minute! European countries all have a very LOW circumcision rate. Europe also has one of the lowest levels of heterosexiually transmitted HIV in the world! Out of the industrialised nations, the USA has both the highest level of circumcision AND the highest incidence of HIV infection. Circumcision is uncommon in Europe. We don't circumcise babies over here!
Source: google "cia world fact book hiv/aids adult prevalence rate".
@psandbergnz Double blind is good for placebos. There is no placebo in this case. Circumcision either does or does not prevent HIV, it doesn't matter what a person feels or thinks.
@MacHead31 I assure you my video wasn't based on my personal opinion; it was based on the findings of AVAC based on their studies. Also you never answered my question why are the places with the highest circumcision rates also the highest for HIV rates? I really want that answer before you go any further.
@MacHead31, if circumcision is so effective at reducing HIV transmission from women to men, when are you going to be able to support this with evidence from your OWN country (USA)? After all, you seem to support routine infant circumcision in the USA, right?
The HIV pandemic is now 30 years old, so you should have good evidence. Why is the incidence of heterosexually transmitted HIV so low in the indigenous populations of European nations, where circumcision is uncommon?
@blackstarzero I don't think people who are mutilating the genitals of babies are able to make a better decision if I fluff up my words with silk and lace. Doing that I only build a welcome atmosphere for these practices to continue. I think the whole scale of influences need to be covered. I'll tell you what, you lace, pad and silk up your arguments and I'll boldly throw their disgusting pedophilia in their face. That way we know we haven't overlooked any possibility of persuasion.
@blackstarzero Oh I do but I would never limit all options on the table. Just think I'm making a few comments and one or two videos about this subject while the people who are doing this are carving the penises and vagina's of babies up in unsanitary deserts with sharp rocks and then sucking the discarded flesh off with their diseased mouths. I think a few stern words in opposition are required.
@blackstarzero I assure you my words/video are my only attack. When people get it in their head that this practice is nasty, evil, disgusting, pedophilic and wrong by blatant and honest people like myself and others then people won't think it's normal, natural and cool. Everyone has their own way to attack subjects like this; on this channel I address them in a stronger than average way, if your opinion doesn't agree then change the channel. Thanks for your comments =)
@blackstarzero thanks for your comment man but you'll have to excuse my language. I don't think calling cultists and fucktards something sweet and nice will hurt people trying to end this pedophilic, mutilating, deforming practice that has no proven scientific benefits other than scaring a child mentally and physically for life. Would you call a murderer or a pedophile anything but what they are? No, and that's why I call them fucktards because they're evil behavior shouldn't be tolerated.

@kleenex3000 The worst part is how they did it. They would use their mouths to suck the cut foreskin off the baby. Several thousand babies die from herpes infections each year because a child's immune system is so weak when they are first born. It's not only dangerous it's nasty and basically rape on an infant
@GodKillerAtheist "They DID" The orthodox chassidic / LUBA-VitchCRAFTer jews are still OBLIGATED to do it, and RabbiChaimMoshe pictures WHY, on YouTube. @kirke420 No problem bro thanks for your comment. He said he took a shower after sex so he didn't have HIV. She was pissed because it was the truth he didn't have HIV and got away with rape. But like circumcision showers do not protect you from diseases. People are stupid sometimes.

@GodKillerAtheist I agree, as one can get HIV without any sexual reasons... a simple drop of blood from a cut on the arm, can cause someone to get HIV... if the other persons blood gets into their system.
@GodKillerAtheist haha, well, nowadays it's not as big a problem, but back in the 70-80s... they didn't check blood, etc. hence why HIV is so spread now... it's not really as result of the gays, or whether your penis has its foreskin or not... HIV isn't just an STD... in reality.
@AgrivatedKillah My kids mother got conned into it. While I was at work, they had a church group come into the hospital and offer to pay for the procedure and they brainwash my kids mom with all these lies that with foreskin it's too hard to keep clean and can cause diseases and STD's and it's immoral because the child won't be able to think about anything but sex sex sex, and so her dumb ass let them do it. I didn't know what was going on until it was all over.

Seems like you have quite a bit of work ahead of you for you to figure out what's actually going on around you. You could start with pubmed.
There are over 40 studies on it. Perhaps you should read one of those. Also 3 RCT were recently done that showed a 60% reduction in female to male.
