@me25422 Those videos are just the most elementary basic intro. I have a playlist with MUCH more in depth..and website that I'm working on to summarize the best ideas from many seminars. Many expert lawyers and historians have said explicitly that there is more evidence for the Bible and even Jesus' resurrection than most figures in history. See this link:
wwwDOTtruth-is-lifeDOTorg/resurrectionDOThtml
And there are a host of benefits in THIS life from being Christian as well.
@me25422 You've been badly deceived. If you go to the link below and these, it is indisputable that there is FAR more evidence for the Bible than for many figures in history and even agnostics like Bart Ehrman admit that the Bible matches up very well. See
watch?v=ZqZP91hGPLQ (manuscripts)
watch?v=Pd_SuVcEOGA (by former atheist)
watch?v=XOiXWyUIHic & watch?v=anl8kUClKmo (VERY well done).
watch?v=JPvbQsJHY-w (Ehrman)
MANY former atheist historians, lawyers, scientists agree on this.
@TruthIsLife7 so you believe that the Bible should be taught in history class along side other historical events? And if so then why is it not taught in ANY legit history class across the country. Not even in Chrisitian schools is it taught in history class. Strange...
@me25422 The Bible most certainly is taught as history in many schools. I took classes where it was taught that way. If you take archaeology for example, you can see the Bible's claims consistently verified. It should be taught a lot more than it is in both history and science classes since it pioneered many important/crucial claims/concepts in both fields..but secular schools are afraid of church-state issues and so for political reasons mostly exclude it.
@TruthIsLife7 yikes. so you think the separation of church and state is a mistake? And I still disagree w your claims that the Bible has been proven beyond a doubt even after watching the video I was able to pull up. I really hope that you sincerely believe this stuff because then at least you can claim ignorance. I too see the Bible as a Holy book but come on. Lets be truthful. In no way is it accurate to say there is FAR more evidence for the Bible than for many figures in history.
@me25422 On church and state, America's pioneers never intended for religion to be amputated from the government in even their wildest dreams. This can be seen in their practice of praying in Congress, the 10 commandments on the wall and other things. Churches and governments have done amazing things working together...ending slavery in the 1800s...and in the last 20 years helping ~1.3 billion people escape poverty..PERSECUTION by any group using the govt. is the problem.
@me25422 See esp. the section on the website on Simon Greenleaf, former atheist and professor of Law at Harvard. There's a link where you can download his book for free.
@RobbeyT Jesus didn't do miracles on demand regardless of the situation. He did them in specific situations when it was God's will. Amazing miracles have been seen and done in our time as well, without any supporting equipment and I know of specific cases. But, to demand that God do whatever we ask or else he doesn't exist, is like a child demanding that parents do every thing asked or else parents don't exist. See the resurrection link on why Jesus' resurrection is a fact (site in progress).
What a maze of double-talk. Whether or not Jesus was a magician is irrelevant. First step is to prove that the bible stories of Jesus miracles are true, something that has never been achieved to date.
It's unfortunate that such a clever magician and performer has succumed to the myth.
@SixStringDeity 20k documents confirming eye witness account of Jesus, and his works. in comparison, 8 surviving accounts of witnesses of Aristotle. yet, he is not questioned as to his existence, and the validity of the eye witness accounts about him. if you don't believe the bibles accounts, then, you also must throw out EVERY ancient work, or document on anyone you havent seen with your own eyes. foolish
@SixStringDeity I agree completely and thanks for commenting. I'm working on a page on the resurrection. Do you have documentation for the 20k/8 accounts of Aristotle claim? My page is here:
@MrToby9999 Jesus life and events in the Bible have been proven more solidly than most events of history. They are not disputable of you want to keep students learning about history. See a tiny bit of evidence for the resurrection here:
@me25422 What am I misinformed about? I try far harder than most to be accurate. If you find an error, I'll thank you for doing so. I've spent ~20 years debating this topic and don't see anything rational about atheism at all. As Carl Sagan said..you have to know a LOT more than me to be an atheist. The only excuse to be an atheist is ignorance of evidence (common due to banning of evidence for God in public schools).
@TruthIsLife7 if you have been doing this for 20 years then you you already know that the Bible and the stories in it have not been "proven more solidly than most events in history" Dont bother replying unless you can first admit this. At that point we can have an intellectual discussion. Until then toodaloo.
Therefore knowing and trusting in the teachings of Jesus, Andre should now be actually demonstrating and doing what Jesus did. Why then, doesn't Andre show the world that he can walk on water, or change water into wine etc without any supporting equipment or visual illusionary tricks?
Jesus is my creator, he knit me in the womb, He made the Universe, Jesus is God!
Chris Angel does tricks which he calls magic which is science not occult sciences.
There are many people who are magicians for God and teach gospel through it.

Then, again when these entertainers do not know Jesus can get confused and start wanting things related to the Occult white or black magic (Ex like McBride) Deut 18.
